China Wok — Restaurant in Sanford

To tell you the truth this was probably the worst Chinese takeout food I've ever had but that could be because their flavors are different from the Chinese place that I usually go to and I decided to give this place a chance because a friend of mine said it was good. With that being said first impressions are the best Impressions and my first impression of this place was that A. their website doesn't work for ordering B. the prices on their website do not matter nor do the portion sizes because as I was told it's wrong. C. Half the staff is friendly the other half can understand anything I'm saying and I can't understand what they're saying so it really doesn't matter. D. The crab rangoon is supposed to be a sweet type flavor inside with the cream cheese not savory. E. The sauce was pretty much non-existent on the boneless spare ribs and it tasted like it was burnt sort of and really terrible. F. And finally the sweet and sour chicken the chicken itself was okay a few of the pieces were crispier than they should be but the sauce was really weird I didn't really care for it but like I said I usually go to the one in the Winn-Dixie Plaza and I guess I should have spent the extra time on gas and went down there to get food from them like I usually do this was a waste of my money I would not...

I don't understand the poor ratings from this place, I go here a lot and the food is always fresh, hot, and delicious. The customer service from the counter may not be 100%, because it's teenagers they hired to speak English to help, and for many of them, it's probably their first job. They are nice though, thank you as you leave, and welcome you when you come in. Best prices around honestly. I can get 10 Krab Rangoons for under $5 even. Delivery is super fast, and it's only $1. I go 15 minutes out of my way to get here, and it is definitely worth it. I love their lo mein, and they also offer online ordering!! For lunch, you can get a protein, lo mein, and a soup for under $10, and the portions are great!! Also, there are a decent amount of people who actually eat inside as well, there's booths and tables for seating. Probably not the best images of their food, but they are definitely more than a 3 star Chinese place, and they give you a few cookies (almond or something) along with fortune cookies in your bag. They are definitely worth a try, and you get your money's worth.

Past Order: Large beef lo mein, shrimp moo shu with lo mein (upcharge, but you get a regular size lo mein with it), 20 Krab Rangoons, and 10 sugar donuts was $30 and it was enough for at least 3 people and...

Not sure if there is new employees but really bad customer service ! My order was not delivered, the man on the phone confirmed address and when the order did not arrive I call back, he stated that I did not provided address. I told him that I did but he did not up dated as it look similar the address and he assumed that was the address, I aske d to speak with a manager he said there was no manager, the I asked for the owner or some one higher than him and he said that per to the wife owner I was not able to re order but to pick up. Stated to the man to please let me speak to that person as I was requesting and in the background all I hear was a female voice telling him to hang up. Me and my family love to rep small businesses but with good quality servive, me and my family have been in this place system for years but unfurtunatly they have one bad customer service person to be on the phone. Also to the wife of the owner that told that bad customer service person to hang up on me, I want to say YOU LOST MY BUSINESS...
