Local Joes Tap & Grill — Restaurant in Sanford

Turned 21 recently and I’m still new to the bar scene. Decided to come here for the first time to meet up with my cousin and his wife with my gf. Had two friends that tagged along as well. As soon as I came in, a guy got me a drink and I was good for now. The two friends that tagged along said the bartenders usually come back to see how it’s going but they never did. So i went up to order shots for me and my cousin. Turns out one of the friends that drinks there doesn’t tip and when I was closing my tab. The guy bartender literally said to my buddy “the reason I didn’t go over to your table is because you’ve came in the past and order $70 worth of drinks and never fu&$@ing tip.” I understand this but then the lady bartender started going off on me and and my cousin about tipping and we tried to tell her this is our first time even coming here. The lady was rude for no reason😂. Not to mention they almost charged me for two coronas when I ordered one. Sure I tipped a small amount but becuz it was bad service and then being rude. I went up again to talk it out and the guy apologized and he was sincere and didnt mean for me to get in the crossfire but the girl apologized but clearly didn’t care. To add on, they were pretty loud about it and grabbed the attention of the whole place. Everyone was staring at us. Kinda embarrassing when me and my cousin didn’t do anything wrong.There could’ve been better ways to approach my friend that doesn’t tip but to drag other people in it and cause a scene when we’ve never stepped foot in there was unprofessional. Waited for an hour and a half for 2 appetizers to come out. Nachos and 10 wings. Only the front room had patrons when we arrived. We assumed that they had already ordered and the kitchen was in full swing working on getting their order out. Not really sure what happened but we kept being told it should be out shortly and that the kitchen only had 2 people working and they were also working on the orders of the patrons in the front room. This was at the hour mark. When the food finally arrived it was mediocre. I can make the same nachos and wings at home. Also, we never saw our waitress again after the food was delivered. We already missed half our show at the Temple Theater. We literally could have walked out the front door and the staff would have never known. I had to walk up to the bar and ask the bartender if I could pay for my appetizers. If you are just out for a social night and nowhere to be and don't mind hanging out for a couple hours for food then this is the place for you. Make sure you are not starving when you go though. As much as this pizza cost it looks like my 2 year old made it. When I showed it to the staff they said it was normal and this was the designated amount of topping that is normal. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Just got home with the food: ranch was not refrigerated and is the consistency of cool whip, "hot" wings are bland and have zero sauce. I know it's Sanford and most restaurants aren't that great here but this has to be hands down the worst food and service I have had in 10 years of living here.
