
Very disappointed. I was looking forward to my service and arrived early. I then got a text from the girl scheduled to do it that she was running 10 minutes late, no big deal. She asked me to wait in my car and said she would text me when I could come in, cool that’s what I did. About 10 or 15 minutes after my appointment time she texted me that she still wasn’t there but that there would be more than enough time for my service. So about 30 minutes after my appointment time she final says I can come in. She tells me to fill out paperwork so I do. She comes back and is pushing for a patch test. Which I didn’t feel that I needed because I have no allergies or sensitivities. She says it’s up to me and I said I wasn’t really worried about it. She then opens her schedule and starts trying to figure out when to reschedule me so then I get that because she was late she didn’t have the time to do it. I was very understanding that she was late and I wasn’t making a big deal about it. She tried to tell me that a required patch test should be posted on their website and she’s sorry about that. But if it was required I got multiple emails and a text days before my appointment and it was never mentioned. But I had an appointment time and I was early I did nothing wrong and it was extremely unprofessional on her part. I was really looking forward to all the services this place had to offer and was interested in having a few different services done and being a regular client but that was my first experience and it was awful so I will be going somewhere else...
Read moreI had a wonderful massage today from Kela! It was my first time at the Cabana and it was a wonderful environment. So relaxing and so helpful. As someone who suffers from migraines and chronic pain she was very attentive and gentle, checked on me throughout and my two week migraine went away finally. I will definitely be back to see her and check out the other services as well. Sooo grateful for her help!
Update: I would have loved to have tried the hair services at the salon but my appointment was cancelled two days in a row (no worries, I’m a hair stylist myself and I totally understand things happen) and then I was asked to come in on a third day and I said I could and when I asked the stylist what time I should come, I never received a response or a phone call which was disappointing after taking off work three consecutive days in a row. Like I said, totally understand things happen out of our control, but in the future, I’d recommend better communication (especially as a brand new client and not a regular) because this made me go elsewhere for...
Read moreI've been getting massages for the last 15 years for chronic pain in at least 9 different cities from countless places; this was the worst experience and massage I've ever had and I'm not hard to please. The place had a strong odor of mildew, the room was very run down looking and the construction noises and the people talking in the next room over sounded like they were happening in the same room. That's not what I even consider to be the worst part-I told the massage therapist what I wanted and he told me "no" and said he was going to do something else that would stop my pain. Big surprise- it didn't. It also wasn't a relaxing or near what a swedish massage is. He basically poked my body various places for an hour.
