Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Sanford

We order the same pizza, as often as possible. Got our pizza today, delivered by Oscar. He appeared very professional. He wore a mask to deliver, but I could see his smile in his eyes and hear it in his speech as I greeted him from the kitchen window. We opted for no contact delivery, so he left it on the TV tray we left on the porch. The pizza was warm, and lacked the crispness we always order (“well done”). We noticed immediately that they are using different boxes: thinner, lacking the corrugated structure. The pizza was sitting atop a piece of parchment paper with little grease puddles. Sadly, despite us immediately putting the slices on our plates, the grease had soaked into the crust and saturated the cardboard, leaking out onto the counter. If we had driven home with this on a lap, as we often do if traveling back from Fayetteville, it would have leaked grease on our clothing. I believe positive experiences should be shared just as often as negative. I picked up an order at Marco's in Sanford tonight (1/20/18) and was blown away at how polite the staff were. As I neared the door a delivery driver was walking in as well. He asked "Are you coming to Marco's?" and I replied "Sure am..." He held the door and said "Well thank you for choosing us, enjoy your meal." Wow!!!

Then I get to the register and the young lady greeted me, showed me the pizza and offered red peppers and cheese. I know she was just doing what she was supposed too but she was genuinely nice about it. No typical "I don't want to be here" attitude just a smile and happy to help. Wow!

The pizza and cheese bread were great. Cooked perfectly and with the free cheese bread code you can't beat the price! I'm blown away by Marco's and as a lifelong Lee County resident I'm relieved to visit a restaurant where the staff actually act like they want you there. Thank you Marco's employees, great...

We ordered delivery on a Monday and even though it took them a few to get here it was okay. We live in a newly developed development so sometimes gps does not pull up our address all the time. ( if you use google maps your grand!!!!) So even though their food is not the best we decided to order with them again on Thursday/today instead of Dino's which is everyone's top choice of pizza delivery here. So i call and now they will not deliver, the girl on the phone stated they were to busy to deliver to us at this time.
