Be very careful when you order from this restaurant via Uber and take out/pickup - the food was undercooked, spoiled and served with incredibly small portions. The restaurant is incredibly dirty, no soap in the restrooms, dead cockroaches on the bathroom floor and toilets not cleaned with urine stains and feces on the seats. I ordered 2 spring rolls, Hibachi chicken, shrimp, and steak combo with noodles, Hawaiian Maki roll, and an eggroll. My eggroll was soggy, the Hawaii Maki roll rice was stale, hard, and the salmon was spoiled. The Hibachi steak was like leather, they threw in two pieces of shrimp. I contacted the store and spoke with the owner. She accused me of being a liar and to bring the food back knowing it the. I called only to share my experiences about the food and bathrooms not looking for compensation. She refused to listen, became very hostile, and could care less about my opinion. I am reaching out to Uber and the county health department to express my concerns about the cleanliness of this restaurant. Unfortunately, when ordering from Uber etc. you get charged before you can really have a chance to check out the order. Bad on my part for waiting to get home and not checking the order beforehand. Hope this helps make informed decisions...
Read morePlace was not clean, I presume the child of the owners was the one taking orders at the register. Sure felt like child labor laws were being violated, wasn't sure if it was a restaurant, or an after school program. The sushi was subpar, bland, and room temperature. After placing my order, the little girl said that was a lot of food I ordered (3 sushi role combo and spring rolls), then she asked if I was getting ready to eat all the food I ordered in one sitting. I am not morbidly obese, heck i wouldn't even say I'm fat, but it felt like she was implying that was too much food to order for one person. I didn't feel I should have to explain to her that i ordered enough to have for dinner as well, but if your going to be forcing your kid to work, teach them some manners and etiquette. I will not be back, sushi places around Sanford are just horrible now. I will not be wasting my...
Read moreThe initial impression when you walk into this restaurant is a good feeling about dinning in for a habachi and sushi dinner. However, theye use a rib eye steak as their beef and it was horribly prepared. The excessive marbling (fat) out weighed the portion of steak actually ate. The order was steak and shrimp cooked to medium well. This was not accomplished. I could only finish a quarter of the meal prior to tapping out and having concerns of the near future of what might lay waiting for me hours later. If you enjoy actual habachi then do you best to steer clear of this establishment. The one posture was the simply but satisfying sushi sampler prior...
