We were really excited to try the pho at An Pho after hearing great things, but unfortunately, by the time we arrived around 6pm, they had already sold out! A little disappointing, but it also says a lot about how popular their pho must be. That said, the experience was still very positive. The restaurant is visually appealing, with a clean, modern interior and a welcoming, cozy vibe. The staff was friendly, and the owner personally came over to apologize for the shortage. He was incredibly kind and even gave us a 25% discount on our order, which we really appreciated. Even though we didn’t get to try the pho this time, the rest of the menu was still enjoyable—and the excellent service definitely makes us want to come back earlier next time to try the star dish! Pro tip: come earlier in the day to make sure you don’t miss out on the pho! Update 6/18/2025: Had the pleasure of trying An Noodles & Pho again, and the experience continues to impress. The broth was rich, full of depth, and incredibly flavorful. We ordered the chicken breast and brisket pho, both were delicious and satisfying. They’re currently running a buy one, get one for $1 deal, which is an unbeatable value, especially given the current economy. We also tried the Garlic Noodles with Bulgogi beef, and it was spot on. The grilled onions paired with the garlicky noodles created an amazing flavor combo. Definitely a must-try. 😋 The owners went above and beyond by offering complimentary drinks for both dine-in and takeout guests. The jasmine green tea was refreshing and fragrant, and they even included some Shasta sodas. As a nice touch from a previous visit, we were treated to free spring rolls (for previous review). They were fresh, crisp, and paired perfectly with their delicious peanut sauce. Great food, unbeatable prices, and genuinely kind service. This place continues to deliver every time.

Just discovered this new pho restaurant in Santa Ana, and I’m genuinely impressed! The location is spotless, sleek, and modern a refreshing vibe that sets the tone the moment you walk in. The staff was phenomenal. One gentleman in particular went above and beyond with his service courteous, helpful, and incredibly hospitable. You can tell the team here really cares about the guest experience. Now to the food absolutely delicious! I ordered the meatball pho and also tried the brisket, and both were incredible. The broth was rich and flavorful, perfectly balanced without being too salty or heavy. The meats? Tender, juicy, and fresh not dry at all. You can tell that quality ingredients are a priority here. An extra bonus? Free drinks! That’s right, complimentary soda, tea, and water. It’s those small touches that go a long way. Great prime location, amazing food, and exceptional service. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area or even just passing through. This spot is definitely going on my regular rotation. 🍜🙌

Food: Pho tai is not too salty so it's perfect for the sodium conscious people. Good portion of soup and the noodles are limitless. Garlic noodles (dry) with shrimp is very flavorful. Buy One Get One for $1. Great deal because it tastes good too. Per the server, we can mix and match with the pho. Pho is also buy one and get one for $1. Unsweetened green tea, Shasta sodas, and water are self service so folks can help themselves. Sea Salt Ice Coffee is perfect. Flavorful and not overly sweetened with just enough cream. Service: Servers are attentive, respectful, and responsive. The extra noodles came as soon as they were ordered. Atmosphere: Casual dining and kid friendly. Bench seat on the inside with modular tables for different configurations. Chairs for the other side of the table. Versatile configurations to accommodate different sized party. Cost: Reasonably priced food and drinks.

The Pho-nomenon That Wasn’t;

Look, I wanted to love this place. It had all the makings of a hip noodle hotspot: tiny space, long line, and that mysterious $1 noodle refill that feels like it was cooked up by a marketing intern with a minor in psychology. Spoiler alert: you could ask for extra noodles at literally any other pho spot and they’d do the same thing—just without the ✨ branding ✨.

The pho itself? It’s fine. Decent broth, nothing memorable. Definitely not worth the price, which feels a bit inflated for what you get. It’s like you’re paying extra for the hype, not the flavor.

Now about the wait. We stood around for over 45 minutes, and when our name was finally called, the waiter yelled at us for not signing in—even though we had. To top it off, they sat a group who came in after us. I guess punctuality is optional if you bring enough main-character energy.

As for the atmosphere, I can see how it might look like a fun date spot from Instagram, but between the crowd, the chaos, and the fast food vibe, it’s probably better suited for a quick bite with friends than a romantic night out.

Overall, not terrible, not amazing. It’s one of those places you try once just to say you did, then go back to your usual pho spot where you don’t get scolded and the noodles come with a smile. I wouldn’t come back simply because of wait time and...
