Taqueria La Vida — Restaurant in Santa Ana

La Vida Taqueria is a hole-in-the-wall that serves authentic Mexican tacos. I wouldn't call this place a restaurant, since there aren't any waiters or service. Instead, you go into this fast-food-like place and walk up to this window-in-a-wall and order your selection of tacos.. A couple of minutes later someone announces that your food is ready over speakers, for you to come pick it up. It's more like an In-an-Out for tacos. There is free and unlimited Salsa options for you to choose from.

I am not a big fan/connoisseur of soft tacos, but I've been told that these are one of the better taco places in Orange County. They do have a little secluded patio in the back as well as a drive-thru. If you are I have found that it is fairly popular among local Latino as well as non-Latinos as well. After years of still being in business, it disappointed me since I used to come here as a kid and it seems to have gotten worse. I came in today with high expectations for the food, my favorite drink (horchata), and clean quality. This is the first taco place I visited on the night which I determined to find the most authentic tacos in OC. I got asada, lengua, pastor, and buche with horchata.
