Aristo was a manager on 12/2/2023 at around 4:00 PM. I was a customer waiting for my food. They messed up my order. Someone was waiting for the bathroom and 3 different employees had told the lady she needed to leave as they said she had been in the bathroom for 30 minutes. Aristo was one of the people that talked to her and told her she needed to leave. The lady said I have blood coming out of me you will have to wait. Everyone in the restaurant heard Aristo talking to the lady and the lady talking back. Five minutes later the man with his family at the table by the South Harbor Blvd corner of the business told the man waiting he needed to knock on the door and keep knocking. The customer that was waiting for a non customer in the bathroom answered him back that the employees had already been knocking for 30 minutes. Aristo came out and yelled at the customer waiting for the bathroom that he needed to leave or he was going to call security, as he could not have anyone disrupting his restaurant. That is funny as the Manager was louder than the customer at the table next to me or the customer waiting for 30 minutes for the person in the bathroom that was not a customer. The customer told the manager that Orange county health code required them to not limit the customers to one bathroom per the number of seats in the restroom. The manager told the customer he did not care. The customer told him he would contact Orange county health Monday morning. The manager, laughing, answered I do not care as I am not working Monday. I am shocked at a young manager with clearly no training in management skills making these mistakes. The customer should clearly file a discrimination suite as the Spanish kid was clear he did not like the caucasian customer. The customer went over and picked up his food from his table and told him to make it to go. The manager laughed after the paying customer left. Read moreThey get really busy and are under staffed! They have a great attitude about being swamped so just know you're gonna be there a while whether you drive thru or dine in. If you can do that you'll receive your food as soon as they can get it to you with a smile and a real desire to give you the best customer service possible! They are honest and upfront. They tell you right away, if it's going to be up to an hour to get your food. They ask if you are ok with whatever timeframe it'll be, before they let you pay. They take EBT as well. They have open public bathrooms which are really clean compared to other places I've been. Their food is always good and prepared the way you ordered it. The only thing that they lack in, is having enough people working to handle the demands from customers. This is out of their control. The pandemic is still in full throttle. I don't know why the powers that be in our government, are saying things are back to normal considering businesses who cater to the public. This bothers me quite a bit. I myself am at a high risk for covid and must still stay away from places that are not following strict covid guidelines. This restaurant still spaces out which tables in their lobby you can sit at. Sadly this is the only close by pollo loco and every time I come here same problem always and employees at drive threw with bad attitude and rush us to get out of drive threw.
