Cali Tacos — Restaurant in Santa Ana

The food here is great, the size and flavor are all good. The only problem is the person taking your order. Behind the counter. A young girl named Yaritza took our order but from the very beginning didn't acknowledge us and ignored me and my family. Once we were standing there for about a minute with no one else, she finally decided to take our order but with a mopy, depressed (I hate being here) type of attitude. We ordered our food and sat down. The cooks worked fast, but here we have a problem again. She decided to just leave our food on the counter while she did other things around the back of the counter. After about 3 minutes of waiting for our food, even after it was already finished, she finally called our order! Went to grab it and asked how many Cali sauses I needed, then gave me the tray of food but with a hateful attitude, almost threw it on my hands. I have been here before, and this is the first time I/We get treated like this in this restaurant. The food again was great, no complaints, but they/Owners should really have someone with some basic education, FRIENDLY TO ALL ATTITUDE and common customer service. SHE should be in the back and not in front of the house where she becomes the restaurant first impressions. I will give this spot 1 more chance in the near future, but for now, I have a sour taste in my mouth due to this unfriendly rude interaction...

Terrible Customer service! Owner should be upset that the worker turned down a $70 order. I called in on 3/15/22 at 9:48 pm to place an order for pickup. The worker (male) who picked up the phone and said they are closing in 10 minutes and are no longer taking orders. I then said ‘wow that sucks’ and explained that I would be there in 5 minutes to pick it up since I live around the corner. He then said ‘no we’re closing in 10 minutes’. I then asked him if I walk in at 955pm and place an order if he would tell me they are closed. He said ‘no I would take your order.’ I then stated ok. I will be there before 955pm. He said ‘ ok whatever, I will take your order’. Excited I said thank you and proceeded to order as I made my way to the restaurant. Half way through my order, the worker then said my order was too big and they can’t do it after ordering 3 tacos and Angel fries. I felt really bad because I was trying to feed my family. I then said ‘ ok, I will write a review and let everyone know you don’t take orders after 950. He said ‘ whatever that’s fine’ and hung up. I really hope this review gets to ownership as they just lost someone who goes to Cali Tacos at least once a week. I will never return due to this experience. And yet, despite its size, this burrito doesn't sacrifice an ounce of flavor or quality.
