Good food, but horrific treatment of disabled people. They’re listed as a drive through restaurant & they have a drive through, but I guess it’s not in use all the time. I called the store 15 times to try to get help as I have virtually no use of my legs. I drive via paddles on my steering wheel & I do curbside & drive throughs only (on the rare occasion I’m out). Unfortunately I cannot afford an electric wheelchair or a new vehicle to accommodate one. When I got to the talk box I was told to come in to order like “everyone else” & explained I couldn’t because I have no use of my legs & that I tried calling several times to get help. Was then told, “then you can go home & order online since you can’t walk.” Really awesome to make me feel like nothing & refuse service based on a disability I can’t help. As someone who wasn’t always disabled I sort of knew how bad it was for people who weren’t fully ambulatory, but my experiences after becoming disabled speak volumes. Totally degrading & disgusting behavior & not because I went over one short traffic cone, which being a traffic cone can’t be damaged by that, & again thats after calling 15 times to get some help, but because I can’t walk. Don’t advertise your restaurant as a drive through if you refuse to let people use it & don’t degrade someone for not having full use of their legs. Disgusting. Yeah I’m not ordering online or again from here period. You have to pay additional fees online & wait literal hours sometimes for delivery. I’m a human, & NOT a second class citizen wether you think so or not Nice Guys. The amount of times I called wouldn’t even fit in the picture but you get the point. Edit: Just to bc clear I was still offered food despite goin past the cone, it wasn’t til he learned of my disability I was told to leave. Also having worked in service industries I can say there is undoubtedly a graceful way to handle this. “I’m sorry no one answered the phone, we are just too slammed to help you at the drive through right now” Boom. You don’t help me & I leave with some dignity. It’s just basic...
Read moreSo, I was with a co-worker running errands in Santa Ana and meeting with a client. I'm a huge carnivore and she is vegan and extremely accommodating when choosing places to eat.
As we were driving back to our last listing appt, we passed this place with the great big sign. What caught my eye was what appeared to be an old school mom and pop with a huge sign highlighting Burger and I was craving a spicy cheese burger. Then I saw 100% vegan and my cravings were dashed but, I offered to drive through so she could try it.
When we got the to retro style menu, she was like a kid in a candy shop looking at all of the fast food style vegan options and couldn't decide what to choose. Sitting there waiting for what felt like an eternity, I decided to order here as I was becoming pretty hungry. I thought to myself, "how bad can a plant based burger with plant based cheese be?" Then I thought of some bad experiences I had but decided to order anyways.
I was expecting my Jalapeño burger to be just ok but, was extremely disturbed and pleasantly surprised to actually start craving more of the burger as I was consuming it. That was one really good effin burger!
Moments before the nice gentleman at the window, Don, asked who was the meat eater and who was the vegan and we disclosed it to him. We had a brief conversation on converting me to being a vegan and I said "not going to happen, as I love my almost raw steaks".
I have to eat my words now after I ate their food as if I can find a place like this close to home with the flavor of this burger, I think I could change. Half the calories of the burger I was going to buy at a normal beef place and my body probably thanks me for not adding more cholesterol today.
Huge thumbs up and I hope they open...

I went here with my co-worker, who is not vegan. I was ridiculously excited in the drive thru and didn’t know what to pick. I changed my order when I saw they had a Big Mac-esque burger called The Big Guy.
Don who took our order was super nice and patient. I ordered The Big Guy with fries and my co-worker had the jalapeño burger with tater tots.
Not only did it absolutely live up to my excitement and expectations, but my co-worker really liked it as well. He was happy with how low calorie it was compared to if he had gotten a non-vegan jalapeño burger somewhere else. He couldn’t tell it was vegan. We’ve ordered vegan pizza for a meeting before and the cheese was awful due to its texture. Nice Burger’s cheese tasted just like regular cheese and had the same texture.
Oh and the ranch? Just as good if not better than regular ranch. They have a pretty big variety of all the fast food favorites.
I want to take my meat-eating family members, who have to start cutting out meat for certain health reasons here.
Tl;dr: it’s a classic fast food drive-thru but VEGAN!!! This is a must-stop for vegans and it just might convince your...
