KD’s Donuts — Restaurant in Santa Ana

I gave this place a try and thought it was a good place to stop by for coffee and a croissant rather than going to my usual donut shop. I had been here about three times but this past time I went was not what I expected! I recall ordering the lady at front one coffee and one croissant and she charged me for two, when I went up and explained to her that I only wanted one she immediately got upset and started ranting something under her breath. When I asked her what she was saying she just took my bag and tossed one croissant on the counter along with my 5$ refund, additionally exclaiming other words under her breath that I couldn’t hear. She was super rude and even made me feel uncomfortable for even asking her for my refund, I normally don’t say anything when other places mess up my orders but I thought I’d ask her nicely for a refund as I was not going to eat two croissant and did not want to waste food. New Ownership has added some awesome upgrades to this little bakery donut shop. They open at 4 am and have fresh baked croissants daily. Their donuts are all fresh and honestly they are the best donuts in Santa Ana that I've had. Their croissants are super fluffy, flaky ans just baked perfectly. Terrible experience. I went there to buy coffee and a ham & cheese. The stupid asian lady was over charging me and then saying my card was expired. I notice she was putting in the card backwards.
