Four months later, on September 22nd, I have received the incorrect merchandise and have been subjected to a shipping and customer service nightmare that perfectly illustrates this company's utter incompetence. The estimated ship date for my two Four Hands artwork pieces was August 14th, a timeline that was confidently confirmed by a Grayson Living email on July 29th. The constant delays and conflicting updates that followed demonstrate a total lack of internal communication and quality control. August 23rd: I had to initiate contact because I never received tracking information. August 26th: Grayson Living responds with the lie that my order was "ready for shipment" and they were just "waiting on tracking details." September 5th: After more silence, I called for an update. The phone agent had no tracking info and, contrary to the email, could not confirm if the order was even complete. September 7th: Another confusing email arrives, claiming the carrier "was unable to pickup" my already-produced order and that a new delivery attempt would be made in 1-2 weeks. September 15th: A glimmer of hope with an email stating the shipment was "on the way." September 22nd: The order finally arrives, four months after my purchase and well past the original estimated date. The climax of this unbelievable ordeal? It was the wrong shipment. This is not a story of a minor delay; it is a case study in systemic failure. Grayson Living's team demonstrated a complete inability to track, communicate, or verify their own orders. From false confirmations to conflicting information between their email and phone support, the process was nothing short of a bait-and-switch. But the incompetence didn't end with the wrong delivery; it continued with a return process that makes the customer do all the work. After informing Grayson Living of their mistake, they did not offer to make it right. There was no apology or promise to expedite a new, correct shipment. The delivery scheduling has been absolutely terrible. Not only did it take several months to get my furniture, now they won’t bring it into my house! I paid for white glove delivery and since the pieces are coming in separate shipments, they said they’re leaving my furniture in my driveway because only one delivery qualifies to be brought into my house!!! On top of that, their return policy is absolutely terrible. They will gauge you 50% of what you paid to make sure they still get their cut.
