I ordered take out a carnitas burrito and a Cuban torta. I waited over 30 mins for my order. I was order 220 and once they were calling order 226 I asked the girl if my order was almost ready and she said it will be out soon the cooks are busy. Busy flirting with the waitress. I’ve seen the cook stop multiple times just to talk to the girl instead of paying attention to the food he is cooking. I waited patiently waiting for my order to be done soon but it wasn’t until they reached 234 when I went back up and asked the counter girl who took my order if she can please check if my order was ready and not forgotten. She said burritos usually take a while and when she was still talking the other flirty girl cut in with a handful of excuses saying the torta was ready but not the burrito and asked if I wanted to switch to a torta instead. I said I’ll wait for my order because that’s what wanted. Flirty girl went back to doing her job cleaning instead of even asking the cook to make sure my order was coming. Even the order after me which was 2 burritos got served before mine. I really didn’t understand why it took so long for my order when they were at order 237 when I finally got my order. I was disappointed, upset, and overall annoyed at the whole situation. The staff did not offer at least an apology for the inconvenience. Hope this review reaches...
Read moreI hardly leave reviews but I do appreciate a good place to eat when I see one! The cashiers were really nice to me and the place was decently clean. I went during Black Friday and was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to eat here since it got packed very easily! I feel as if I barely made it in on time before the line started to form behind me. I saw a guy have a problem with his taco cover salad and the workers were very accommodating to him despite his attitude and with the number of clients that came flooding in on Black Friday, staff tried their best to handle everything!
The food itself was amazing!! I ordered some fish tacos(dine in) and a asada torta, combo of taquitos, and a large agua fresca (to go). The fish tacos were really nice and I like how they have a salsa bar so that I can just grab what I need instead of waiting to ask for more salsa. My brothers ate the rest of the food so I can’t say much about that but I will say that they didn’t leave a crumb behind! The agua Fresca was a bit at room temperature so I wish I could’ve asked for it sooner or on a separate order. I ended up asking for a cup of ice to just fix that problem though
Overall a really great...
Read moreI found this place while waiting for my daughter and was on my way to the Starbucks next door when I saw the sign. It was a hot day, and I figured juice would be a nice alternative to a cold coffee drink.
The location is not the best, and there is little in the way of seating inside, but there is plenty of seating just outside. This is a traditional Latin restaurant, so juice is not what you might expect. It's thicker and not as liquidity. The menu has a number of different types of juice, combinations of different fruits all mixed together.
I ordered the Mango version, and while the thickness was a suprise, the taste was exceptional. Having the pulp in the drink was also different for "juice," but it was refreshing. Even my daughter found it to be delicious.
I also tried a carnitas taco while I was waiting, and it too was very good. Considering all the unhealthy places to eat in the Mall, this is a nice...
