Sbarro Main Place — Restaurant in Santa Ana

The gentleman that was making the pizzas was so kind and very loving. We felt like we were speaking to our grandfather. We loved him and his beautiful hospitality. He took the time to explain each item and according to our liking. What we loved the most was his amazing service and the kindness and joyful hospitality. The restaurant was not even open yet, and he said the others may not be open, but for us, he was, and was no problem. Then we got to the cashier, and she said to the gentleman, "Aren't you early for selling already, sir? All in Spanish with an unpleasant attitude. We asked if it was ok, and she replied by saying well I guess, since he warmed your items ."" Talk about yuck attitude 🤦🏻‍♀️ We made sure before we left to thank him for his beautiful hospitality, and he turned around saying thank you for brightening my day. Let me tell you, we need more ppl like him in the customer service industry. He did not let the ugliness of the cashier ruin his day. She can learn so much from him, and sadly, I believe she was...

As always, Ruben and his awesome team, totally rocking it at the pizza game! Ruben runs such a tight ship, keeping the store pristine and spotless, always tackling extra projects when they have "downtime", the things that most other places just ignore. Ruben is such a dedicated worker, it's clear that he is well-liked, by his customers and his employees, that he's more than just a "boss". He is always working and doing tasks himself and I think that that's one of the things that really makes him and his Sbarro location stand out!

Unknowingly came in just before closing, and they didn't tell me I couldn't eat inside until I sat down after purchasing my food. Got told multiple times in under a minute that they were closing and we couldn't stay, but customers after us were welcome to stay, and no one else was told to leave. It was completely unprofessional, so I got there early enough to buy food, but I couldn't stay to eat it like everyone else. I'm unsure of his name, but I appreciate the young guy who was cleaning the tables trying to comfort us. However, the Hispanic woman who spoke to my younger brother instead of me as an adult should be ashamed as well as who I believe was...
