Starbucks — Restaurant in Santa Ana

This is a very tough Starbucks to read, as it's in a very busy mall in their food court, and therefore it has inherent disadvantages. That being said they do a good job. The staff is on their toes and very friendly, and I just happened to walk in already having been to two previous Starbucks meetings and all I wanted was some ice water. I felt a little bit awkward but the staff reassured me was no big deal and just handed me my cup of ice water so I could sit and wait for the rest of my party to arrive. They made me feel comfortable with my request and I really appreciated that. So I'm giving is five stars not because it's the best Starbucks in the world but because they optimized The Limited physical quarters they have. Even a pseudo outdoor area with chairs and tables falling out into the atrium of the mall giving it an almost Outdoors effect! Not a place I'd return to because impossible with the noise from all the other people to actually get work done, but when I'm in that mall I want to take a break I will definitely head there rather than any of the other competing coffee shops at the...

Yet, another wak-up window coffee shop (yes a Starbucks) that only offers part of the menu and to to it off, this one DID NOT OFFER A BATHROOM. I ordered my drink Grande in Venti cup, Skinny Carmel Latte, with coconut milk and extra ice. She said OK. Then preceeded to tell me they had only two skinny syrups and none were Carmel. So basically, OK - you can have your skinny drink as ordered but not skinny?? Kids these days. I ordered it the fat way, (the only way they could've made that drink) and what's ya know? I’ve come here 3 separate times and my sister works at the mall so I’ve heard her complain as well. Every time I’ve come here the employees are rude to me. And every time after taking my order it takes at least 20 minutes to get my drink. Now this is Starbucks usually this wouldn’t bother me. However I always come on weekdays when it’s not busy at all. They take my order and then start gossiping with one another right in front of us. So we know they are literally choosing to talk to each other instead of doing their jobs. It’s insulting. My sister says every time she goes they are rude to her as well. Go to the coffee bean instead. Their employees know about customer service.
