I've been eating at this restaurant for years and have never had any issues until today. I never eat anything on the menu other than the kabob plate with the romaine avocado salad. My salad came out and my avocado was brown. I tried the avocado and it was sour. This prompted me to flip it over wherein I then saw the inside of the avocado and it was black. Staff proceeded to bring me a replacement of what appeared to be the other half of this avocado as it was the same color brown. My boyfriend politely asked if they could just bring me a different avocado and not the other half of the original one.
The manager, Alison, then approached our table with the same avocado and asked what the issue was in the most patronizing tone and speaking loudly enough for the rest of the restaurant to hear. Before I could explain why we requested new avocado, in a condescending manner she stated, "avocados are not pristine." She stated she could leave the brown one or nothing and then stated it was, "extra avocado" when in fact we were sending back the original one and were not asking for anything other than what we paid for. I was embarrassed by her approach and took the brown avocado out of embarrassment because I wanted her to leave my table and stop making a scene. She then said that her staff had brought us three different avocados at this point... which was not the case at all.
Allison was defensive, hostile, and is the antithesis of the good customer service she should model for her staff. My boyfriend and I were not at any point rude to anyone and did not deserve this treatment.
I was so upset, I ended up not eating my food. There's a professional way to handle disagreements and communicate with others and Allison clearly does not understand that. Allison's bad attitude ruined my meal and the ambiance of the establishment.
I would like to mention that despite this poor experience, our waitress,Trissa, provided excellent service and honestly has better customer service and managerial skills than Allison.
Sadly, I will never come back to this location and will definitely no longer use this establishment to cater my company parties...
   Read moreI don't recommend pre-ordering on Mondqy 12/30/24 for pickup on Tuesday 12/31/24 at this location. They will not manage the orders correctly, and you will wait over 20 minutes or more to receive your order after your pre-requested time if you are lucky to receive it. We ended up canceling our order with the manager on duty Jessica, and she mentioned she screenshot the cancellation of our order on her phone to make sure it would be cancelled and we would be refunded our $. She never mentioned how long it would take, as she was expected to cancel our order the same night. We didn't receive a receipt or email cancellation confirmation, as she mentioned she couldn't provide one. I believe she was too busy trying to juggle the demand of requests to provide proper customer service to us. It's now Friday 1/3/25, and I am still waiting on our refund, as my credit card has been charged for no food being provided. Corporate has been made aware and awaiting their response. Lastly, one of the individuals at the counter admitted they took on too many orders than they could handle that day. Please, learn to manage your location better. I don't really expect us to go back to this location and/or cater parties with them. We ended up going to pollo loco about a mile away, and it saved us $40 in food costs for 4 people, but the also messed up our order and waiting on the manager to call us back for the items they didn't provide for a refund. We ordered dinner for our family 50 hours in advance and were told our pick up time would be 4:30 PM maybe 5 PM upon arrival at 4:30 PM on Motherâs Day we were told that they were running three hours behind And our food would not be available until 7 PM which is unacceptable Three hours behind and for us to wait at the restaurant along with hundreds of other people to pick up our food I am the owner of a large Company that relies on residential and commercial customers to keep my business. Alive, Allison and her management team should be terminated immediately along with anyone else involved with scheduling online orders through Google for Motherâs Day.
