I've been coming her many many times and this has been my only Oaxaca favorite restaurant but I went in yesterday and I didn't like my service I've never had a good customer service that I've been happy about but yesterday has been one I've actually dislike my family and I arrive before some other lady and her friend and they were help out first not just that but we wouldn't get ask if we wanted anything like the waiter kept passing to fast and we love the chips that with the mole that is always given out first but they didn't take it we waited a while until I was able to get there attention and ask for it my sister had ask for the made horchata she loves it with fruit they ask her which one she wanted if the regular or the made one and they took her the regular one then she re orders a other one minutes later and they tell they didn't have any more that's why they didn't give it to her the first time I just felt like it was super mad to be seated it took them more time to help us out and to help someone else that arrived after us was just unfair This has only been the only restraunt that I like my tlayuda and if I get another bad service I'll just have to stop coming they really need to work on giving out a better service with there clients why hire ppl that can't have a good attitude when...
Read moreI am skeptical about Mexican restaurants because most places have the same menus or very similar menus, and the food is not that good or not good at all. Very often, customer service is very bad. Unhappy servers, perhaps working in the wrong place. Well, this restaurant was very good. The food was on point and delicious. I am a bit disappointed because the portion was kind of small. Very small slice of cesina and a very small slice of tasajo, perhaps a couple of ounces each. My plate came with rice and beans. I asked for no beans and all rice. Even when I ordered only rice, I barely got two small portions of rice. Not even a cup of rice. Rice is not expensive, so I don't know why they serve such a micro portion. I asked for a glass of water from the very beginning. The waitress brought some chips, but no water. I didn't get water until dinner was served. Cafe de la olla was very, very good. Great live music. I really felt like I was in an Oaxacan restaurant in Mexico. Overall, I like the restaurant, except for the small portion and the lack of customer service. Food, coffee, and good live music were the major highlights. I recommend this restaurant to people who want to enjoy a real taste of...
