Duke's Charbroiler — Restaurant in Santa Ana

No one who lives around this place should ever go to Dennys or IHOP ever again. Guys. This place was noticeably better than your average breakfast place. We got the breakfast special for like $12 and it had 2 pieces of toast (wheat, white, or sourdough): Usually the toast is a throwaway item for these restaurants and you don’t even eat it. Not this toast. We got that sourdough toast and it was so freaking good. Hash browns: the hash browns were real potato’s goodness. Didn’t seem like they came frozen in a bag. 4 strips of bacon: for my liking the bacon was perfect. It had some flop to it. The strips were nice and big. 2 eggs of your choice: eggs were standard, I think the main reason I liked them so much is because last time I got eggs at a restaurant they sucked What is amazing is all that food is a couple dollars less than Dennys or IHOP would be for the same stuff, but then all of it tastes better. You order from the front rather than with waiters and a menu and the lady who served us was kind and patient and clear. The only thing was the floors were kinda a sticky, but I don’t care my food was so freaking good and well priced. Dukes has the best burgers ever its been a family favorite since i was a young girl and now today my own daughter enjoys the same foods from Dukes that i like as well. We haven't been to Dukes in awhile and today we decided to eat here instead of eating elsewhere. And I'm so glad we did there food today was so awesome everything was made just right the burgers were juicy and made to order with extra dressing and onions how we like them and there fries were perfect they were golden and tasted great seasoned with the right amount of salt left your mouth watering with each bite. And the soda the Mug Rootbeer was right on point from the tap it was so yummy making it hard not to just drink it all in one sip. They have lots of other foods but these are our favorites from Dukes someday i will try some of the other meals but being low on money living off my ssi disability only gives you so much money when your disabled so you cant just go and spend it wildly. The food was so gross. The flavor was weird I honestly felt grossed out I had to stop eating. The pancakes were tough the syrup was sooo nasty. It wasn't even sweet it it felt like syrup but without the regular flavor ewww the eggs tasted dreadful I thinking the had gone bad. Seriously! !!
