Went in for take out today. Good experience with the woman taking my order, she was friendly and helpful. The issue came at the time to pay. A different woman with absolutely no manners or sense of customer service was ringing me up. Absolutely did nothing to greet or acknowledge me. Rather than give me my total she just stuck her hand out for my card. Clearly, I was interrupting her day.
When I handed her my Amex she proceeded to tell me they didn’t take Amex because the fees they charged were too high. I let her know she had a sticker on the door saying the business accepted Amex and she said you’ll have to pay another way. I reach into my wallet for a different card and she doesn’t bother giving me my total. I repeatedly asked her what the total was and she finally snapped at me that is was $24. No thank you, no come again, no I’m sorry we don’t accept Amex.

Read moreThis used to be my family’s favorite brunch spot on the weekends. We were very hungry and excited to have this for breakfast and my mom and I left extremely disappointed! The only thing that was okay was the beans and chips they gave us at the beginning. We had menudo and it was like they added food coloring and water. Not even a taste of salt. I’m typing this while being grossed out. The consomé was also bland and all we could taste was the cumin. I’ve heard people do that to get rid of the spoilt taste and to make food last longer. Then we decided to get another dish since the menudo was a fail. And guess what, the chilaquiles were BLAND too. Did you guys change cooks/management? What’s going on? I will tell people to stay...
Read moreThe service here is pretty good. Everyone is friendly and the cooks care about quality (they've personally asked us about the food). Honestly, I only ever get the Guajolote since I first tried it, but it's phenomenal. It's one of the only meals I can finish, and not because it's small (it's not), but because it's just that good. It's basically a huge torta with shredded turkey, refried beans, enchiladas, and boiled egg. Sounds weird but it became an...
