El Centenario Grill & Seafood — Restaurant in Santa Ana

I have had the opportunity to visit a variety of places around the east and west coasts and some in Mexico and in all this time I never thought I would find a place so close to my house with exceptional quality in seafood. There are few places I am really happy to know. this great place with this experience of the atmosphere and treatment today I went to El centenario with my friends and OMG it really is great we arrived and we were greeted at the door by a gorgeous guy wow very friendly and talkative he treated us the best as did the waitress but then I realized that the handsome guy was the chef!!! In no other place that I know do you have the opportunity to interact like this with the kitchen staff and what a staff it is worth highlighting 👌so the exquisite food without a doubt my new favorite restaurant, thank you and we will be seeing...

We found bugs in our drinks! ! The waiter kept denying it, saying it was spices and not bugs (readers, take a look at the pics and decide for yourself) and quick to take the drinks away.. honestly he was rude from the beginning when my girlfriend and I came in there with my support dog. I have never in my life been this disgusted and they almost got us... I honestly feel it could have been racism related since we were getting dirty looks by the staff when we minded our own business and because we are an interracial couple. The sad part is at the beginning we kept thanking the waiter too because the chips and salsa were really good and he would just sarcastically say "yea...

Looking for an authentic Mex cuisine with a great atmosphere? SAE on 17th Street in Santa Ana is the place! We ordered the Chicken & Shrimp Fajitas. It was served steaming hot and the flavors were distinctive and succulent. Serving size was generous for the $16 per dish price. I thought the $10 drinks were a little weak. We were there for a birthday celebration and the karaoke talent was phenomenal! They have a well equiped stage for aspiring American Idol singers and musicians, too! Great, friendly staff with an eye on the tables with respectable turn-times despite a full house. I give SAE a 5 out of 5 points and will be back with family...
