KFC — Restaurant in Santa Ana

On Saturday me and my family came down from San Diego we stopped off at KFC off Grand and 17th Street in Santa Ana I figured my wife was hungry for some KFC chicken and thought it would be great it was interesting to see that it's a Long John Silver as well never seen that before but we place our order for chicken mashed potatoes with gravy and macaroni with cheese when we got to where we were going to eat the chicken was original recipe and it tastes like it's been in the fryer for too long we literally have to peel off the skin and the chicken itself was not very juicy maybe because it was sitting in the fryer too long or being cooked for too long I don't think I will eat here again and the only reason why I gave it to Stars was because my son had the macaroni and cheese that it was okay but the best part was chicken which was really a bummer hope this post makes you think twice before...

I live nearby so I've come to this location quite a few times. It takes a lot for me to leave a review, and even more for me to leave a bad one (especially for a fast food restaurant, which is usually don't have high expectations for), but this location just brought it out of me.

I have NEVER received a correct order, and that's not an exaggeration. Something is always missing, or swapped for something else. For my latest pickup I was blessed with no utensils, 2 less biscuits than I had requested, and one missing order of potato wedges.

Mind you, this isn't during rush hour, anytime I go here I'm either the only car in the drive through or one of 2-3 cars.

If you can help it go to a different location, and if you absolutely have to use this one make sure you open up your bags and check to make sure your food is there. Chances are...

Long John Silvers are tough to find. Most have merged into a KFC. I came here looking for the old fish and chips and maybe some of the new stuff they have been advertising. No luck! Like most merged fast food, the menu options are limited. Nothing of the new menu here. Pretty much nothing edible either. I am 62 years old. I hate waste. I can count the number of meals i have trashed on one hand. This was one of the most deserving. The KFC might be good. But LJS is horrid. I'm going back to the independent that took over the old HSalt location on Palo Verde. See if i can dislodge this "meal" from my memory before it puts me off...
