Lucky Chinese Food — Restaurant in Santa Ana

I usually wait to write a review after several times that I've been to a business to make sure that service is consistent.

I've been here a lot of times in the last few years and this place seems to be consistent with the food and the amount they serve you. *Specifically the amount they serve you because other places are stingy and don't really take care of their customers properly. *Carla G. Here is a couple of those places that would be McFadden and Harbor Boulevard Shopping Center that place they're very stingy and have an *attitude.❎ Another place would be Fountain Valley at ellis & Brookhurst ❎ that place is the same basically with more of an *attitude I don't recommend those places. 🚫

....Okay back to this place, I like the taste of the food and the owner is very nice and if you smile at him and say hello you / he may toss an egg roll your way ..lol. I do *recommend this place even though it may be out of the way to drive for some but it is worth it 💎...

This Chinese restaurant has to be the foulest one I have ever eaten in. I went twice, the first time was one impression the next was a total different impression both were unpleasant. The first time I went, the food looked old. The vegetables contained a white gooey substance on them...not fresh vegetables that's for sure. This could be the reason why they charge so little for a lot of food, which is spilling out and the lid can't close. They just don't know how to get rid of it. The second time I went there, there were flies around the food and some were landing on it, repulsive. I couldn't believe the line of people waiting to get food, they saw the flies but still they order. I had to leave. I am surprise the health inspection hasn't...

Don't do it. I decided to go here on my way home, never been here before, i thought why not? Here's why. They are filthy. You may not notice it when you walk in, or while you're in there but as soon as you wake up sick your body will tell you. I ordered the 2 shrimp choices alone with fried rice and chow mein. The shrimp were not cleaned before they were cooked. If they aren't preparing the seafood properly (seriously who doesn't know you have to clean out the vein of a shrimp? ) I can only imagine what other cleaning steps they overlook. I'm Lucky I'm still alive after eating here, and lucky I only ate one shrimp veggie I realized what wad there. Worst Chinese...
