This place is nasty and dirty. The health inspection people should come here and see how messy and unsanitary the restaurant is. The restroom is so yucky and smelly too. Ewwww!!! My sister, our friend, and I did not enjoy our meals, unfortunately. The sushi are so bland, the rice is still wet, and tasted so cheap. It’s like the owner bought last-minute fish at the cheap Asian market and sell it triple the price. Every sushi roll is $15. I think this is one of the most expensive sushi restaurants in Orange County. Other sushi restaurants around here is a little cheaper and much fresher than Yo Sushi. We won’t be back anyways because of this terrible experience. DO NOT COME HERE! We really mean it. You will thank us 3 for helping you stay away from a dirty business. Believe us, if you eat there, you might have a worse experience than we do. Everything here is super weird. I am reading the other bad reviews and I do agree with what they say: dirty, expensive, mean owner, bad service, and cheap taste. Take care everyone!
I don’t know why the owner talks so rudely to upset customers like that in the bad reviews. I am very surprised to see what I see. I am a co-owner of a restaurant too and I would never speak to anyone like that when they give a bad review. No matter how terrible or nasty a person says, just say “I’m sorry for the bad experience. Please give us another try”. My fiancé and I deal with upset customers all the time and it’s our responsibility to always be professional so that we don’t look bad...
Read moreI ordered our family of four their rolls. They came out on a cool boat (usually those are reserved for fancy orders in other places :) ) But our rolls didn't look like the pictures. My 5 Year old whom wanted a cucumber roll "like the picture" as he said (cucumber wrapped around PLAIN salmon, tuna, shrimp, avocado). Instead it came out as cucumber wrapped around spicy tuna, crab meat, salmon, think tuna and a thick squeeze of sriracha sauce on top. I requested a new one with the waitress and the owner/chef flies out of the back. NEXT TIME YOU ORDER TELL ME NO SAUCE. I explained I let the waitress know it was for my kid and he just wanted one like the picture. WELL, NEXT TIME YOU ORDER IT WITH NO SAUCE. Well, maybe you should indicate there was sauce and spicy tuna and crab meat in your pictures on the menu. OK THEN IT IS MY WAITRESSES FAULT! No, it is your fault having the wrong picture on your menu. OK FINE THEN, I WILL MAKE YOU A NEW ONE FOR FREE BUT NEXT TIME SAY NO SAUCE. Eventually a new one is very half assly made. The waitress n him scuffle n she walks out. And eventually our bill comes with the roll still on the receipt and we paid for...
Read moreFirst appearance is an little deceiving. No conveyer belt fast service but a sit down next to corona Mexican banner. Glasses reading “bonjour” and Japanese lanterns. Sapporo, Asahi, bud light, corona signs I think the restaurant is confused about what it wants to be. Once you come in your welcome with friendly service and surprised not to wait to long for food. All Japanese sushi, tonkatsu, chirashi bowls, hand-rolls, etc. I ordered the hand-roll sushi combo. The chef pick an array of fish and it was worth the 13.99 price! Eel, fatty tuna, salmon.. all fresh. Hand-rolls rice, avocado, imitation crab all fairly fresh and in good amount! Even their ginger was the real deal and no the store bought stale. Would recommend if your looking for decent quality food for the price. Again only tried the sushi. I had a shrimp tempura hand roll which I think the tempura could have more crunch but it wasn’t reheated. Thanks for the experience! Recommend if you want to spend a little more then conveyer belt to get better...
