I wish I could give them 0 stars. With the health scares I wanted support Chipotle but I will NEVER go to another Chipotle after the last two experiences.
First poor experience was ordering in store - they were out of fajita veggies and had to wait close to 10 minutes while the cooked veggies sat on the counter next to my order. Other issues was I ordered chips which they did not give me so once I finally received my food they disappeared into the back and I had to wait another 3-5 minutes to simply get my complete order.
Not two weeks later my girlfriend placed a mobile order which I went in to pick up. Upon arrival they informed me they did not have the order, could not find it by name, and needed confirmation to complete the order. Once I showed the screen shot confirmations an employee named Richie refused to honor the prepaid order as it did not have a time stamp. To review they messed up a paying customers order, demand verification, but once provided refused to give me our food because informations was missing from their confirmation!
Not only does Chipotle normally skimp on portions but to tell a paying customer essentially that ‘it’s 50/50 that we messed up or that you already purchased food from our establishment and could be reusing an old confirmation - but we will assume you’re scamming us’ is unacceptable.
We contacted customer service and was offered no remuneration or even a refund. That is the last penny I will ever give to Chipotle. With that poor customer service no wonder your restaurants...
Read moreI don’t leave reviews often, but I have had only negative experiences here. Their food handling is insufficient at best and I have found a lot of cross contamination in my food when buying from this store, including meat in veg friendly items.
Just this last visit, I wanted a 3 ingredient burrito. Rice, beans, cheese. Somehow managed to repeat my order 4 times as well as step by step and I still got the wrong thing. Could not effectively communicate with the man behind the counter who seemed inebriated and decided not to waste my money on more food to be prepared incorrectly.
Sat at the counter to pay for a good minute and a half while 6 other employees walked around without acknowledging me or my food, doing tasks that were not more important than the customers. As someone who works in customer service, the least you can do is greet your customer! Make them feel seen! Let them know you’ll get to them in a second. When I was acknowledged finally, I felt rushed to pay and leave although the people in line behind me weren’t even done getting their food.
Food is always underserved, cross contaminated, or made wrong. Employees are uncaring and make you feel like a burden as a customer, even for the simplest orders and transactions. Just go the extra mile and go to the one in Goleta. Much more...
Read moreI wish I would of read the reviews before dining here. I was in town for work and needed to eat somewhere at 830pm. Walked in and the line was to the door with one employee behind the line making everyone's orders and checking them out one by one. I counted at least 5 other employees that I saw come from the back and then return after grabbing something from the front. Long story short, I waited at least 30 mins in line before getting to the front. They were out of multiple items on the food line (Brown Rice, Pinto Beans, Fajitas Veges, etc.) along with no more chips. Once I went over to the drinks, 3/4 of the sodas were out of syrup and the ones that had it were spitting more CO2 while all 4 of their juices were out. Then we get to the dinning room, where there was a spill in the middle of the floor that needed to be mopped up and all the trash cans were overflowing so bad that the trash was leaning against the walls. When I got done, I went to read the reviews and saw this was not a one off situation. I am surprised these issues haven't been fixed... Would not recommend this location...
