Backyard Bowls — Restaurant in Santa Barbara

Walked in, no other customers there, so I figured it'd be quick. They made several to go orders before mine. I waited about 15mins (after being told 6).

Taste is ok/good, but not worth the price or wait. I've definitely had better for half the price. And I was disappointed how little coconut there was. The acai needs to be more frozen, I didn't want a smoothie. After tip for 1 bowl was $18!

It's extremely hard to eat an acai bowl from a large cup. You end up not having any toppings for half the acai. They need to reconsider "to go bowls."

Overall, I wouldn't recommend...

I finally tried this place not too long ago after driving by it a million times. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I've had a few bowls now, but I have to say my favorite is the Power Bowl. Super delicious. I get the large bowl. I think its a better value than the regular. This place is easy to find, its at la cumbre mall, just up from Chipotle. Food is good. Waiting for your order always takes 10-20min. So to beat the wait, I order online, yet 2 out of 4 times it's still not ready when I set a pick up time for 30min. The amount of food you get is not always consistent... Sometimes you get a full bowl, then next time you barely get it halfway, and they know it, so they try to cover it up with a banana and a half... And if you look around, it's pretty dirty in there.. It's time to find...
