I was pleasantly surprised by Habit. It was very limited on seating options, and very small inside, with no real atmosphere to speak of. The wait for my order was nearly 10 minutes, but I can attribute that to how busy they were. And the burger was extremely messy and fell apart easily! And the fries were normal, not seasoned beyond salt.
So those were my negatives. But my positives far outweigh the negatives. The service, most importantly, was top notch. They were pleasant, greeted you with respect, answered questions gladly, and smiled a bunch! Great service does a LOT to make customers put less weight on negatives when leaving reviews, and give the positives more weight with stars! So great job! Additionally, the burger with pineapple on it was quite delicious, even though it fell apart and was messy. I had no idea a pineapple slice would taste good on a burger - But I do have one more complaint - the burger was not as advertised. The meat was about half the size of the thickness in the pictured items, and the picture showed a pineapple slice with the SAME circumference as the burger, but it was quite a tiny slice, off to one side, and was gobbled up in just two bites... come on, if you're going to make the pineapple so tasty and mouth-watering in the picture within the burger, try to live up to it! Read moreI have an idea, besides changing your logo to a burnt hamburger, try adding a new slogan. I suggest "where we're locked in increasing prices" or something like that. Real talk, The Habit was one of if not, my favorite burger joint that offers a variety of great tasting food, but I can't look back if they don't up their game while willingly increasing their prices. I'd venture to say that they're going after five guys prices. Ha, no wonder why you guys are barely raved over regardless of how many locations you guys have, and in-n-out always takes the spotlight! Unfortunately for you, you won't be seeing me stepping into one of these for a while.
Edit: Out of curiosity I re-downloaded the app to try to log back in to the account I've previously made. There's an error saying that I put my password incorrect so of course I let them email a code. And what do you know? They've NEVER sent an email. I tried multiple times and still nothing. So you're trying to tell me that you'd go out of your way to increase your prices but wouldn't bother fixing an obvious glitch on your end? Can't recall having this issue w/ another website. Seriously can this company get more pathetic??? Plus they hardly give you any deals compared to many restaurant chains. Now my chances of stepping in a habit...
Read moreI used to order 1-2x a week the Cesar salad was always a favorite and of course their well known chargrilled burger. I stopped going for awhile and was craving a burger so I placed an online order for a double char with grilled onions and it didn’t live up to what the habit always stood for, making IT a habit. They’ve gone corporate which has severely impacted the quality of their food. The meat has changed, poor quality and doesn’t even reflect what the habit is known for and that’s those infamous charbroiled grill marks. Instead, giving a mushy burger that tastes like the beef was defrosted and sitting out. The meat was the heart of what the habit stood for and was known for and for that, it’s unfortunate they’ve gone corporate.
