First time in Santa Barbara and we were walking around try to find a place to eat. We seen the building and thought to ourselves, oh this place looks fancy. When we walked in we realized it was more like a family pizza spot where you have parties and enjoy a few beers with friends. We didnt mind how the inside looked. The reason we went in is because we literally smelled the pizza from outside and it smelled really good. The pizza was surprisingly good and we also had wings. Wings were like the equivalent to domino's pizza wings. Salad bar was also ok. All in all it's a good pizza spot, not the best but good.

I have tried pizza from different places in the United States and by far Rusty's Pizza Parlor makes the most delicious pizza. I normally don't like the crust, but the crust from Rusty's is very crispy and tasty. They have different types of pizza, but my favorite pizza is el Diablo pizza. You can also customize your pizza and you can select from thin or thick. They also have a big salad bar, but they only want you to serve yourself once. The location is new and big which they have privaterooms.. You can also have birthday parties, so make a reservation for a private room.

Rusty's is pretty good. Ordered over the phone for delivery. My pet-peave for pizza places is being chintzy on the toppings, there's no excuse. I used to manage a pizza place and I know the cost to actually make a pizza is very low. But this isn't the case for Rusty's. More than enough toppings, plus they have cashews! If you have never had cashews on your pizza, try it. My favorite is pepperoni and cashews. But we ordered Rusty's special with cashews. The crust was good too. We also ordered wings which were good and had plenty of sauce. Over all Rusty's was very good.

LOTS of square footage in there! Gawd knows what their RENT must be, on the fringe of the Funk Zone in Santa Barbara, for cryin' out loud! Good food; reasonable prices, really, considering their location! The place is IMMACULATE! We were there ON THE 4TH OF JULY - but they STILL managed to keep the place -including the bathrooms - IMMACULATE! Only two of us; I got a large salad bar (1 trip only - all-you-can-eat NOT an option!) and a medium pizza for my fellow charter-bus driver... It was just over $30, but we stayed there, taking up a table, for HOURS - being careful to take stalk of our surroundings, willing to give-up our table, if they got close to capacity - but, like I say - the place is HUGE! So, we stayed for HOURS, and staff was nothing but REALLY NICE to us! No one ran-us-off, didn't care that we enjoyed our bottomless drinks, and made good use of their bathroom! We were there ALMOST long enough to get dinner, too - but our charter had a group that wanted to BAIL, BEFORE the fireworks - so, we had to leave; DIDN'T get to order a ton...

Due to the location of this restaurant, I thought it was going to be something else until I walked in. Honestly, no biggie in my opinion. I was happy to find a casual dinning experience in Santa Barbara. However, the service and cleanliness of the restaurant is what sets this place back. I ordered my food, which for some odd reason, the staff couldn't decide who was going to take my order, so no one did for maybe 5-7 minutes as they all only spoke to each other in Spanish while ignoring me. Finally placed my order - Went to get my drink and there were pieces of black specks in the ice. I dumped my ice, tried again. Same thing. Dumped that cup, tried a different machine and it appeared to be better.

The pizza was decent, pretty good. The only thing that stopped me from eating after the first slice was the ROACH that started crawling on the table. Truly a terrible experience. Clean this place up or...

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! NO STARS IF I COULD! I will never go back here and will never recommend this place! The manager Maria has no respect for her customers. She is not welcoming , no consideration for people and she has no idea "customer service" is about. Im beyond shocked how she treated me and my family (my 3 kids, my brother & my mom) she had the nerve to tell me "she didnt care" 2x! I also asked for her name and told her I will make sure to leave a review of my experience there and she told me again, that she didnt care! Unbelievable. How embarrassing for a beautiful city to have such a RUDE lady in her position at a restaurant in the most busiest part of town full of tourists. I demanded a full refund and she had the audacity to tell me not to come back! I wouldnt go back there even if you paid me too!! There is a better Rusty's on...
