Absolutely dreadful I remember the food being above average but I will never be eating here again. An old man, who was likely the owner, made my sandwiches without gloves and was grabbing everything in his hands. On top of all the meat being squished between his fist, he made the cardinal sin of taking my money before he finished my last sub. I am never eating there again and advise you to stay clear of this place.
PS – when I was waiting in line some unfortunate guy bought 7 or 8 two foot party subs from them and they apparently kept them on a wet platter. He came back in showing how soggy all the bottom subs were and they refused to do anything to correct their error other then offer to re-wrap the subs...
Read moreBy far the best sandwiches in town. I've been going to Sam's for a while now and this is a long overdue review. Their sandwiches are amazingly fresh and delicious. They have locally baked bread delivered everyday. Their ingredients are all cut in-house, none of that pre-packaged stuff . It's had the same family owners for the past 30 years so you know they're doing it right.
For recommendations my favorites are #15 which is turkey, cheese, and their freshly made avocado. #27 is that but with their delicious bacon. Their pastrami is amazing too if you're in the mood for a hot sandwich.

And don't even think about storing a sub with the guac overnight. It will be inedible the next day. Other than that, a good sub for a good price...BUT WHY DON'T YOU MAKE 12in. SUBS??
