Had an afternoon to explore the Funk Zone and all the tasting rooms, restaurants, and tap houses but ended up getting stuck at The Valley Project and Kunin Wines for a couple hours. Tim was the tasting room associate and provided a great experience with a ton of information about the wine, regions of the AVA's and Santa Barbara itself. Lots of different wines available and it's a unique experience tasting wines from different grapes and regions. Super fun and a great time. If you cant decide between all the tasting rooms to visit, just make sure The Valley Project is one of them and make sure you ask for Tim. He's the man! Cheers!

There are SO MANY wine tasting rooms in the area, but make this one a priority! While some of them drop your flight on the table and leave you with an info sheet, The Valley Project is an immersive experience. The guys know their stuff -- from history of the region to the winemaking process -- and they refer frequently to the huge (and entertaining!) wall map to provide context for the wines they highlight. And each bottle we tasted was excellent.

This was such an informative, fantastic jumping off point to enter SB county. I wish I caught our server's name because he was a wealth of regional knowledge. The red flight we tasted was a solid sampling of all the different regional AVAs in SB. Two lovely Syrahs, a surprisingly robust Zinfandel & a Petite Verdot all stood out. We.even got some touring advice for the week ahead. Great visit!

As a wine club member for years and upon returning was met with an unwelcoming environment from the main manager. Been their multiple times with great experiences until coming to meet one of the male workers. He was unwelcoming and didn’t live up to the previous welcoming experiences. Even though some experiences have been good, they made it so unwelcoming we decided to go next door where we had a much better time. If you are just visiting I would recommend going but the attitude of some workers isn’t up to par with what...

This spot is tucked away in the cutest little artsy nook. We were in need of a last-minute bottle of wine for our host on Thanksgiving. So happy we found this spot. Loved the exclusivity of this vineyard and couldn't have been happier with the choice. I was guided to a Cab from the gentlemen behind the bar. Excellent recommendation! The wine was a hit.

Next time we are in Santa Barbara we will make it a point to stop here and enjoy what they have to offer. The ambiance is bright and open....
