I don’t know how they have a 4.3 star rating. Every time we go, and we live close by… the potatoes are wayyy under done.. hard and gross. Not to mention they put way too many in their breakfast burritos. You try and ask for extra egg, beg them tell them you’ll pay extra money to have more egg than potato, and what they’ll serve you is the same thing no matter what you ask. They’ll tell you, yes just to get you to shut up, but they’re gonna give you the same garbage, maybe worse because you asked. And understand this is not a language barrier, they knew exactly what I meant and they gave me the same gross burrito every time. Because we live close I’ve given them many many tries over a lot of time A breakfast burrito is the easiest thing in the world to get right, it feels like they get it wrong on purpose so I don’t come back. Everything I’ve ordered is basic and bare minimum. Maybe they don’t know how to season things, maybe they can’t keep a chef, but it’s bad every single time.. again they do not deserve a 4.3. They shouldn’t have more than a three star rating. The only thing they can manage to cook decently is fries and those taste great. So if you’re into fries, go here if you’re into Mexican food, apparently they...
Read moreBrand new fast food restaurant in the small retail complex just southwest of Harmons. This Santa Clara outpost of the popular St George chain offers a clean dining space, friendly service, and an extensive menu of fast food Mexican options. On my first visit, I decided on the quesabirria tacos. Three large tacos stuffed with brisket and cheese with a side order of consommé for dipping. It was excellent and I could only finish two of the tacos (my partner helped me out with the third). On my second visit, I opted for the cheese enchiladas, which were very good, and the beef burrito (large and mostly meat and grilled veggies...no cheese, which I would have preferred). They have a great condiments bar. Can't wait to try the Chile relent or carne asada fries on a future visit. It's nice to have a fresh, tasty authentic Mexican fast food option in the Santa...
