Place is alright. :) Only giving it three stars because I went there for the very first time and ordered a bowl. Upon ordering they said they were out of granola. That’s okay, I asked for chia seeds and even included some blueberries to put on it. I paid, left a tip and waited. While I was waiting there, I could tell the two employees were nervous because they seemed to be out of more than a couple items. They had already apologized to another customer and mentioned that they were out of another item. After about five minutes, one of the young girls came out from the back and said they were out of the yogurt to make my bowl, and that she would get my name and number so that I could be refunded via a manager. I wasn’t offered a substitute or another item on the menu. I dismissed the situation and said I didn’t need to be refunded, it was only $13. I left without anything or any sort of refund. I’m giving the three stars because I wasn’t able to try anything out so I couldn’t tell anyone if this restaurant is good or not. Also, I would suggest that the manger or owner put up some “not available” signs on the items that are out of stock. This would help customers as well as make it way less awkward for the young workers. It’s definitely an uncomfortable position to be put in (coming from a workers POV) and some people probably wouldn’t have...
Read more3/29/2021: Thank you for your reply. We gave a second chance today for lunch and ordered $40 of bowls. The four bowls were placed in a plastic bag and as the employee handed the bag to us, the bag was dropped while both sets of hands were on the bag. The employee did not react, apologize, or help. Instead, she walked away from the situation and quickly walked into the break room area. The bowls were spilled all over the bag and it was a giant mess. I promise we are not making this up--please contact me if you would like to discuss further. Obviously there is a severe personnel issue here. $40 dollars of bowls were spilled. No help, apology, refund, or replacement was offered.
3/27/2021: The açaí bowls at Roxberry are fantastic, but the customer service needs to completely change. The staff said “we aren’t taking orders right now” as if it were completely a normal thing to say. It’s 12:45PM on a Saturday. I don’t know how to respond to this besides not patronizing...
Read moreI was excited to go and try this place out so My mom and i thought we would go and check it out. First off we could not find the place for a long time we kept driving by looking least 3 times and it was worse with the construction going on, we finally found it just luckily by seeing a tiny sign by the road saying Roxberry so we go in look at the menu for awhile and they had no fat free milk or even 2 percent milk. Then a guy came in later on and stood next to the women cashier and my mom asked if this place was organic. The guy said yes the women said no and they just stood there staring at each other and the guys like I think we do and she just tells us no it's not. At that point they were just guessing so i wasnt going to spend money on just a guess for something we didnt really want. So I was very dissapointed with our experience I don't think it's likely that I would be back. Mainly cause of the construction it's not worth the hassle on something I dont...
