Royal Thai Cuisine Express 89 — Restaurant in Santa Clara

I am challenged to distinguish which is better: the food or the service.

On the one hand, the food is amazing. The Owner (“Paul”) and his team have actually moved here from Thailand and are sharing his recipes and cuisine with Southern Utah. They are very sensitive to your spice preferences while also staying true to the flavor of their homeland.

On the other hand, Paul and his team are amazingly - incredibly - hospitable and kind. Although, the restaurant atmosphere is customized to local (SoUT) tastes, the service and culture is palpable when interacting with Paul and his team.

I live in Ivins but I’m from out of state where we have really good authentic foods of every kind. Eating out here in Southern Utah has been a drag, I leave most places disappointed. My expectations were low coming to royal thai (to no fault of their own) but I’m pregnant and I was wanting food NOW so I stopped in to get food to go. I’m impressed! Royal Thai Cuisine Express is a reliable spot for flavorful Thai food, especially for takeout. The staff is consistently likable, helpful, fast, and friendly, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. The dishes are packed with flavor, but be mindful of the spice levels—medium here feels like very hot at most other restaurants. We usually stick to mild and request their hot pepper spice on the side to customize the heat.
