House of Bagels — Restaurant in Santa Clara

Lady owner yells at you “more?!?!” when you ask more of something as if you’re not paying extra for it. Not sure why she thinks that’s ok, your customers help you pay your rent, control yourself and have some respect.

Also, BIG issue here is the microwaves. VERY dangerous ways of usage. They microwave everything (including bagels to soften them up) and for long period of time. They don’t have a grill, so expect your eggs to look like an abomination coming out of a bowl. Disgusting. And not healthy to consume all those waves in your body.

Compared to Noah bagels, I found they have Jalapeño and Tomato which was good. From a quality, this bagel is little more softer than Noah..I like it little harder so prefer Noah. dozen bagels here was $15.50 after tax with no cream cheese. however Noah gives dozen bagels with 2 cream cheese. I found price of cream cheese here ridiculously priced at $6.50. Bigger/better variety of cream cheese is 2 for $4 at safeway just across the street. they also charge $1 for cutting the bagel, but noah does not charge anything. Bottom line, I do not...

I love this bagel shop and it's my go to breakfast place. I come about once a week for breakfast for the past 10 years. I usually order a sausage breakfast sandwich on an all-in-one bagel with a Vietnamese iced coffee. Perfect way to start a long day at work. Sometimes, I grab a Banh Mi in the morning for lunch too. Even after sitting on my desk for 4-hours, it's still fantastic.
