Paris Baguette — Restaurant in Santa Clara

Very bad service and poor quality tea and coffee. When this store opened we were delighted because it is closer to our home than other Elcamino store by lawrence exp way. I went there today with my wife for the first time and we will not come back again. 2 young employees were not trained to welcome clients, making mistakes in order, she even forget to add 2 cakes to our order, because she charged us before giving us the two pieces of cake, and when I reminded her of her mistake she argued and she didn't even appologize. Even the chai latte and the cofee were made very poor with no taste, we had to throw them. I support hiring teneegers but you should train them how to work with clients and how to make a proper order or at least have someone with more experience supervise them for some time before you handle the management of the business to them. Last please advice the cashier that...

No tables indoor. We got a slice of cake and king donut. King donut tasted like someone just spread clorox or disinfectant spray. We had to spit it out. My husband called and a cashier ( i know she is the cashier bc her voice is the one took care of my bill) said they don't have chef on site and there is no manager to talk because they are getting all bakeries from other location and manager is on different location. We told her donut tasted like soap or clorox. And she said 'well okay ' that was it. Soapy bakeries with unprofessional service and questionable manager....

New bakery in the area yay! (Walk-in choices are slim and not that great)

Downsides: smaller footprint therefore less variety of treats/options to choose from and it gets tight if there are others also shopping in the store with you.

Pros: A bathroom (1), a few outdoor tables, a mix of sweet and savory options, full blown drink menu. Staff were sweet, place is spotless. Secretly wish they'd gotten 2 store units to spread out but for now think of this as a pop-up PB, or "PB Outlet." :)
