I have two favorite poke places: Pokehouse and Go Fish. PokePoke is definitely a very close runner up.

SERVICE It was my first time here and after I started asking what the fish were the person who helped me noticed that I was unfamiliar and was very through with me until the end when I got my toppings. I want to say the service here is excellent, compared to Pokehouse where they get so many orders that they just don't care and wait for you to figure it out yourself. At PokePoke, my server started listing all that they had toppings wise because there weren't signage nor were they easily identifiable. I think that small notion of trying to be helpful got to me. I usually don't tip the first time I go places and usually tip my 2nd time around but this was one of the few places I tipped on the first visit and a bit extra too.

FOOD QUALITY I am in LOVE with the yam noodles here. It is incomparable to GoFish. PokePoke has the best yam noodles hands down. Pokehouse doesn't even have that option. My fish weren't warm and the toppings were plentiful in variety; HOWEVER I wish it were the same with the protein. I love octopus and tofu options and sadly they didn't have it. I did notice that they had both regular and spicy crab salad, and yellowtail which is very nice. Unagi would've been a great addition too but that's more difficult as opposed to the traditional ahi and salmon. I adored their little sauce list too, although I wish they added sauce to the yam noodles as they were quite bland for me. Honestly, if their were more variety with protein, (for toppings they had cheetos and carrot/daikon which are unique and I love it) this would be my #1 go to.

Everytime my portion fell out the small scoop my server would always go back and scoop up what fell with a bit more. And it's such a small gesture but the fact it happened at all makes me grateful. I DEFINITELY will come back...

Love this place, I haven't had better poke yet! A few things pop out for me here: the service, the options and the flavor. Firstly, there are so many options to choose from every step that you're customizing your bowl. Lots of bases to choose from - sushi rice, brown rice, a salad base, noodles and a couple others. Your next choice is a scoop of normal crab salad or their own house mix. Then the big one is THREE scoops of your choice of protein. They have the normal options like salmon and tuna, some unique choices like octopus and shrimp (both cooked), hamachi and spicy tuna, and their own house blend of a mix of fish. It's honestly a little hard to choose between everything. Your next choice, still easier than a multiple choice exam luckily, is between a plethora of sauces. For my first time here it was kind of overwhelming getting to make so many choices and this is where the service aspect really kicked in. My server was really helpful with this part. I get that it's 'just' a poke bowl but I want it to be the best like there ever was so there's that. The last choice is for your extra toppings. The seaweed salad and the avocado is $1 extra but even if you don't go for these premium toppings, there's still a lot of others; about 4-5 crunch toppings (crispy onions, tempura flakes, wontons) and more basic toppings like corn, edamame, fish eggs, etc. I usually mix everything together and my bowl was full of flavor for every single bite and absolutely delicious. A side note that my bowl was extremely filling so you don't need to worry about your poke being too light. I almost feel like this place would be better for dinner because of how large the portion was. Will...

blown away by the service and food here

I want to give a massive shoutout to Issac who truly went above and beyond during my visit. I have celiac disease and often find dining out stressful, especially when staff don’t understand or make it awkward. But not here—Issac handled everything with total grace and professionalism.

When I casually mentioned I had celiac while asking about ingredients, he immediately understood what I meant—no loud questions, no awkward explanations, and definitely no judgment. Instead of brushing it off or making me feel uncomfortable, he double-checked every ingredient and made sure to avoid cross-contamination. He even changed his gloves, got fresh containers from the back, and scooped everything safely—just for my bowl. That level of care is incredibly rare, and honestly, it meant the world to me.

The whole team. There is very nice and accommodating

And let’s talk about the food— Their poke is consistently fresh, flavorful, and fun. They always have exciting new options, like unique fish selections and tons of house-made sauces, many of which are gluten-free and clearly labeled. The miso soup is delicious, the nigiri is top-notch, and they’ve recently added more sushi and Spam musubi to the menu.

This place checks all the boxes: incredible service, outstanding food, safe for gluten-free folks like me, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll absolutely be coming back again and again. If you’re anywhere near this spot, do yourself a favor and go—you’ll be...

One of the worst customer service experiences I have EVER had. I ordered a poke, and they couldn’t even get it right — one of the sides was completely missing. I called the store, thinking they’d just fix it, but nope. They told me they “couldn’t find” my order in their system, and then basically washed their hands of it, saying I should “just contact DoorDash” because they “can’t do anything.” And here’s the jaw-dropper: one of the staff actually said to me, “I wish you had a day that deserves you.” Let that sink in. I’ve never had a business speak to me with such open hostility and disrespect. Not only do they make mistakes, they insult their customers on top of it. If you value your time, money, and basic human decency — stay far, far away from this place. Just noticed that the order that they gave me was a totally different order. Please see the pics that I attached. No shrimps but tuna. A whole mess!

Gluten free poke! That's astoundingly hard to find in this area, since a lot of poke fish comes pre-dressed in sauce. The "build your own" option here is incredible because every ingredient is specifically listed for allergens! There are also tons of topping options and sauces. In light of the pandemic, we've gotten takeout and delivery from Poke Poke pretty frequently, and it's always well packaged and fresh. The value is great for the quantity of fish you get - I've never gotten the chipotle feeling of "damn, those portion spoons were small today ". Love Poke Poke and can't wait to come back soon!
