I don't usually write reviews, but the staff here is dishonest. After placing my order, I noticed there was a $2 "MISC FOOD" charge on my receipt. When I brought it up to the cashier, he paused for a little, then replied that "It was for the chips." That would have been understandable if I had ordered chips. The last thing he asked me before completing my order was, "Would you like some chips, or anything else with your order?" To which I replied "No thank you." I brought up that I did not order the chips. He didn't offer to refund me for them, and then handed me a basket of chips. The misc food charge was in the middle of the receipt, so he added it before he even asked if I wanted chips. He was definitely just hoping I wouldn't notice.

The margarita I ordered was strong, but all of the food was mediocre. Chicken was dry and burrito was skimpy. None of it was worth the dishonesty. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area with better food and...

Our first time here seeing the patio not packed with people. This is a local favorite and we saw our chance to get in before the dinner rush. If I didn't have to be somewhere later in the evening I would still be enjoying the good food and more drinks. Looks like every table complimented their food with the famous margarita pitcher or beer. I wish the beer was colder but may have been due to all the fixings that go into a Michelada that made it a little warmer then I'm used to. Heard your night manager chooses to berate, scream, humiliate and deny service to a woman who simply asked for a reorder because the kitchen staff put cheese and sour cream on an order she placed. She is allergic to dairy and he refused to remake it. Refused her service. And told her anymore with allergies would be denied their special requests and would meet the same humiliating fate she did; him screaming at her in front of a restaurant full of people. What a horrid, pathetic man. And an abismal reflection of this company's choice of who represents them to the public. Huge shame on the Alamo. I'll never, ever...
