Lovely park on a lovely day. Nice little park right off McBean Parkway. Google maps took me to the Summit YMCA and it is possible to park there though I assume it is discouraged generally. There is street parking and a park entrance on Del Monte Dr so if there is a negative to the park that's it, parking isn't a given. That however is fairly trivial relative to how nice the park is. You can: get your steps in. Walk your dogs. Picnic woth blanket or table. Get exercise and oooommmmmm, meditate to the tranquility of this little gem. Paved paths even when you venture off the open grass space area. Paths go all the way up to Del Monte Dr farther down from the parking. You can walk down a off track dirt path that splits the paved area but be careful with your dogs. I had to remove cockleburs several times. Jungle gym for the kids, multiple locations with concrete tables. It's also near pretty much anything Valencia has to offer when you're done at the park and want to grab a bite or go shopping. Recommended.

Absolutely love walking around this park. It's clean, fun, and relaxing. Surrounded by green hills and nature, there's a walking path that circles the entire park and tons of grassy areas to run and play, or simply relax on a blanket. This park doesn't disappoint. The structure for the kids is huge and full of things to jump over, climb up, slide down, and swing on; and comes fully equipped with benches for the adults and a huge covering for those sprinkly, and overly hot sunny days.

Summit Park is a wonderful trail/ park. Ive only been at night, but when the moon is bright it lights up the entire park and trail! No lights needed! My friends and I took advantage of this and did a picture taking competition, so it is a wonderful picture place too!!!! We took these on the trail leading down to the park

Lived here my whole life, don't go too this park with your dog around 11-2pm there's always people with dogs off the leash. Usually isn't a problem until the dog runs up too another dog who's on leash for a reason. Other then that just watch out for rattle snakes in the back strail area. I've never personally seen a rattler back there only ever at most a big rat snake and a baby rat snake.

This includes being when I was younger wed play up in the bushing and woods area of the park. Coyotes are everywhere out there at night so be careful walking a dog at night through the park, so many of them so too the point where we find them early morning and late night roaming out apartment complex right across the street. And as a small dog owner it's something I...

I love this park. Besides being pretty it's great for children to play on swings and slides etc. Lots of people walk their dogs here and there is a group of fog owners who get to get her so their dogs can play and the owners can talk. I like to see that. Some people let their well behaved dogs off leash to run around the huge grassy area and the dogs love that of course. Besides all that the trails for walking are amazing. Pretty hilly though so you do get a good work out. The views are pretty . The walking trails end up in all different places out of the park. The trails are cemented....
