Italia Panetteria & Deli — Restaurant in Santa Clarita

I had originally give this place 4 stars, however I went there today and was not pleased at all. The customer service is horrible, quite frankly non-existent unless you have a call in/online order. I walked in to get a dozen hard rolls, quick and easy so I thought. There were two gentlemen already there, I asked both of them if they had been helped and they said yes they had been. I looked at the number being served and saw it was 22 on the screen and the next ticket was 30, so I though no need to grab a ticket. I then waited for 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge my presence, by this time 3 other people had walked in and the first one of them had taken a number. So I grabbed a number just incase, thinking it wasn't needed because everyone working there saw me or walked by me at least twice. A young man behind the counter then walked up and said who was next and I said I was, well the guy that grabbed the ticket in front of me blurted out, "I have number 30". The young man said does any one have a number lower that 30. I proceeded to tell him I had been waiting the longest and it was my turn. The young man then turned to the other gentleman and proceeded to help him. I thought to myself what a joke, wait for 20 minutes for a dozen rolls then some guy walks right in front of me and the people working there did absolutely nothing. If you like expensive Subway sandwiches, non-existent customer service, and have a half hour to burn then this is the place for you. I know I will...

This place is a discrase of italian representation. The food was disgusting looking not appetiting at all. We ordered a italian sub and asked for no ham, provelone, italian dressing, no mayo instead to put mozzarella and hot peppers. The sandwhich was nothing what we asked for and was all stuck to the wrapping. Who the hell wraps a hot sub in white paper wrapping and not foil. Especially something hot. It was all mush and stuck on the paper. That went straight to the trash. The second sandwhich was a meatball sub toast and that was all mushed and the bread was not even toasted anymore because they wrapped it striaght out of a microwave or something. This place is disgusting. They dont even know how to run a italian business and shouldnt have 12 year old kids working there making food..they should all go back to culinary school or go to Italy and learn how food is suppose to be made. Disgusting!!! Dont waste time or money here. Not worth a penny at all. Writing my review and getting my refund they dont deserve a dime. Or penny. They can go sell there store and shut down. Good sandwiches, counter service sucks. Walked in and stood at the counter. No one else waiting. I waited for 4 or 5 minutes, completely ignored. Then, they called a number. Oops! I forgot to pull a number. My bad. So, I grabbed a number and sat down near the counter to wait. They called another number. Two more to go for my number. I waited for another 4 or 5 minutes. No more numbers called. Then, some people came in and stood at the counter. They were immediately waited on. No numbers. I walked out. Maybe the counter service will improve?
