Sodam Korean Kitchen — Restaurant in Santa Clarita

This Korean restaurant instantly reminded me of my mom's home-cooked meals! The quality of the food was so fresh and clean, and I loved that it wasn't heavily salted. I'm so happy I found this amazing spot. I honestly don't mind driving about 40 minutes just to eat here.

We ordered the Galbitang, a comforting short rib soup with tender galbi ribs, noodles, and a rich, flavorful broth. It was absolutely delicious. But the standout for me was the Seolleongtang a nourishing ox bone soup with noodles, topped with chadol brisket and fresh green onions. It was light and healthy!

The sides and kimchi were also superb so fresh and full of flavor, just like my mom's cooking. On top of the amazing food, the service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance felt cozy and welcoming, making the whole experience even better.

I'll definitely be back to try more dishes from this wonderful...

We ate there Sunday for lunch and we were in for a treat! The side dishes are thoughtful and tasty...Soft tofu has flavor and nice tofu texture. The galbi is well seasoned and you can taste it in every bite. Dumplings were super fresh and u could tell they were made with a lot of care... Post bone soup was super flavored and quite a bit for a soup portion.... Overall a great food experience... So glad this restaurant opened... And it looks like the chef/cooking staff nailed it for their approach to Korean dishes and comfort food... We can skip driving to Korea Town for great tasting food and just come back to this Sodam...

It’s a wonderful Korean experience, this is a fine dinning restaurant, and a chance to experience another culture. So please don’t add bad reviews about high prices or low food portions as this is not American portions. You get Korean diets not tailored diets. Food is awesome and tasty, I had a wonderful time. And no they don’t have tortillas or bread which I typically accompany my meals with which is why I said don’t expect tailored portions or cheap ground beef burger prices.

Overall, sorry for babbling but this place is a perfected spot for a nice date.
