Doublz — Restaurant in Santa Fe Springs

I have given up on this place and today my husband forgot and he went in to get the overpriced family meal , when he asked for a single burger to be plain guess was too much to understand when he ended up getting home since it was on his way. We seen that all burgers were plain. I get in the car since he was upset and what they do is pretend it's ok meanwhile the drive thru woman acted like I made the mistake they just threw in the veggies into the now cold burger not even putting it back on the flat top, less remaking them. The only think they gave me fresh was the fries and even those seemed refried, I'm pretty sure since I've worked in kitchen it's not only unethical but unsanitary , by the way we all got sick from eating at this place the service is trash the food is trash and rather throw my money in the trash than give it here . Oh you ask why I stopped going to begin with. It's because one of my dear friends was almost assaulted by an employee for guess what. Making a mistake.. doublz where you gotta go back twice and might take home an food born Illness or a black eye.

While we've always loved this burger joint for its authentic charbroiled beef patties and comforting dishes, recent experiences have left us feeling disappointed.

Despite respectable prices and consistently good food, the nostalgia we once felt for this place has dwindled significantly. On our latest visit, we made the decision to dine in for the first time after years of relying on the drive-through. Unfortunately, what we found inside was far from inviting.

The restaurant appeared grimy, dirty, and unkempt. While we don't expect anything fancy, cleanliness is certainly a basic expectation for any dining establishment. However, the state of the place left much to be desired.

The bathroom, in particular, was a deal-breaker. It's located outside the restaurant, and the method of handing out a large wooden stick with a key was both disappointing and disgusting. The thought of the potential germs on that stick, which undoubtedly goes from the bathroom back to the front register in the kitchen, was deeply concerning.

A restaurant's commitment to sanitation and food safety can often be judged by the condition of its bathroom, and unfortunately, this one fell short. Until improvements are made to ensure a clean and sanitary environment, we won't be returning...

I just went through the drive-thru and didn't even order anything we just waited for the cars in front of us and left. First of all when we were trying to look at the menu and young man walked over and wanted to take our order. He stood there and I realized he was in the way of the part of the menu my wife was trying to see. So I rolled down the window can I asked him to move he literally moved over three or four inches still standing in the way. We figured he was standing there getting wet and not thinking right so we just began to order what we wanted instead from the part of the menu that we could see. He waited for us to give him our whole order just to tell us that the tablet wasn't working and that they would take our order from the speaker. The whole time this was going on there was somebody yelling in Spanish at somebody else on the speaker then she finally came on and asked us what we wanted and continue to yell at someone else in the background so that's why we left.
