Teriyaki Express — Restaurant in Santa Fe Springs

I was craving teriyaki food and searched places near my job. This place was the closest to my job. I came here because of the distance and also because I saw that it had 4.5 stars. However, I went today, place was empty… made me wonder why. Also place seems kind of outdated. I ordered a chicken and beef combo plate to share with my husband. From the entire plate, the only thing we can say was good was the salad with the dressing and the rice. The beef tasted like it was old, meat was hard and so was the chicken. I would not come back to eat at this place nor would I recommend it. Waste of...

This new establishment is great! The bowls are delicious, the meats are juicy and tender. Not dry and over priced as Flame Broiler. Flame Broiler was on top but has been going down through out the years with cheap meat and high prices. I'll keep eating here but will stop once I notice any change on price or taste. In the mean time... #EATON

Stopped for a quick lunch: Plain rice/ Miso soup. Cost: $11.75

I wasn’t prepared to have the food heated in a microwave. It took forever. Miso soup wasn’t hot enough. Rice was cold, but at least it wasn’t dry. The general hygiene in the restaurant questionable. Felt pretty run down inside, but a lot of people like that aesthetic. Had to give 3 stars for the sweet lady helping me. She even put my containers in a box so it wouldn’t spill. Being considerate...
