Ordered w/d December 22 was delivered January 5th. Never received a call from the delivery company on when they were going to deliver. I didn’t really care if it was after the holidays but there was no communication at all. Every time I called L and D they said they will call me this day or that day and it never happened. Never heard anything from them until they showed up at my home. They were unmasked and when I mentioned it I was told that masks don’t work. They refused to put them on the whole time. So my comfort was not their concern. One guy was very dismissive of me and he was very rude when I wanted to use my old hoses. I was also never told prior to install that I was going to be 125.00 per machine for installation. I found out 5 minutes before they were done. If I was told this upfront I would have setup my own guy to hook them up for 40.00 not 250.00. I’m a caregiver for my special needs sister and my income is limited. I don’t even own a car. I purposely asked about installation pricing and was not told there was one. Be careful who you do business with. Get everything in writing. Also beware of Sapphire installation. They have poor communication and rude unprofessional attitude and will lean on you to buy new hoses. If you don’t he makes it clear he is going to note it on the invoice and he is going to make me sign it. That’s a quote from him. I reached out to L and D about my feelings and they went ignored. The whole experience with L&D was exceptional. We were looking to replace our decades-old double oven with a similar form-factor oven, but updated. The sales staff were able to help provide me with some options in various price ranges and capabilities. They helped me understand functionalities that are available and were sensitive to my budget requirements. L&D had a discontinued JennAir microwave/oven combo that I was looking for to replace my 18 year old model. Turns out they also had the dishwasher in the same set. Andrew was very patient as he and I worked out the details and to get them shipped from California to my home in Florida.
