This place posts a lot on social media showing what looks like great food so I went there and got one of their tortas, a carnitas torta. A torta is judged by the meat, the bread, and the ingredients. The bread was not very fresh and had been microwaved. The meat (the carnitas) was ok but there was very little of it. I asked and they assured me that there would be avocado and tomato in the sandwich ... I got a small smear of guacamole and some tomato and onions. Read moreI had the churros on 5/26/23. It was definitely one star. It was 7 dollars for one churro that was cut up and bad chocolate sauce. The other issue was the service. I stood outside the window with no one else in line for 5 minutes just to get noticed. They weren’t busy nor had multiple things going on (from what I could tell). I figured most people don’t come here for the churros but it was the only place open at night....
Read moreThis is a great truck to hit on your Airport Road taco adventures. It's in the same lot as the Sanchez tacos truck (also good).
We tried the carne asada and Al pastor tacos. Both came with four tacos and a generous amount of sauce and toppings.
Of the two, my preference was for the Al pastor, but that's not to downplay how good the carne asada was too.
Each taco plate was $14, which isn't horrible in this high cost...
