Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Santa Maria

First time customer, It was pouring down rain, windy and cold and here’s me trying to get my large order correct. Luna was so kind, patient and helpful. I asked to speak with manager. Ryan was the other employee working outside. He was very appreciative for the compliment and said Luna and the rest of staff are the best and that Luna offered to work outside and he appreciated it. I get to the window and was greeted with huge smile and such amazing customer service. 3 gals were inside working hard to get drinks ready plus take time to say hello. I shared my experience with Saray, Aracely and Ariana and they were just as amazing! I asked them their names to give them this shout out. Loyal Dutch fan from Oregon (where it’s from). Lived down the street from one. The quality here is standard Dutch quality: great. However, customers here don’t know the menu, which isn’t presented to drivers until they’re close to the drive-thru window. This causes customers to take a while to order when it’s their time to, causing a significant traffic jam. I recommend adding the menu further away from the window so people have more time to think or putting up a sign telling people to check menus on phone. The coffee and drinks are amazing, however the customer service can be on and off. They have young irresponsible teenager that don’t care about their job, and of course not everyone is like that, but the girls would rather spend their time chit chatting with some guy instead of helping the customers. There was two people waiting in line for someone to help take orders and the two girls that we’re supposed to be taking orders were instead taking their sweet time ignoring customers and just talking with a young guy in line.
