I got food poisoning from this place yesterday. I ordered a Philly sandwich with bacon and they left out the bacon. Went back in to get my bacon i asked and paid for. They added a few slices. I noticed that the bacon was just sitting out but wasn't sure how long its been there. I was a bit skeptical but decide to to have some faith in the establishment. I was wrong and.
In my years of cooking and working in restuarants. Any cooked meet should never sit out and must be placed on ice or bacteria will go an cause you to be sick. Im disgusted and shocked that an establishment like this dose not know how to handle their food. Im never eating here again and you guys need to stop poisoning people. Also i noticed that no gloves are worn when making the sandwhiches. I doubt theres a timer for each batch of bacon thats cooked to let you know its been 2 hours. Just a note, i am a former OSHA certified specialist. You guys need to keep the bacon cool or cook as needed and wear gloves.

However, this specific place in Santa Monica lacks of quality control on the product, therefore the reason for 1 star. This is the 3rd time we have ordered sandwiches in the last couple of months and there was always something wrong. To start off, I don't believe anyone reads the "special request" box because even if we say "LITE ON OIL AND VINEGAR", the sandwiches are always extremely soggy and dripping oil and vinegar. The guy taking the order was prepared at least 5 sandwiches before he ask if we needed any help. There are two other employees just fixing the sandwiches and wrapping them but they are l believe new hires. We had some confusion at the register. We ordered 3 giant but charged 3 small. They also prepared wrong sizes. Mod fix the problem and after almost 25 minutes we left the stores. The hot sandwiches bread was old .They hired these 2 guys but they were out of this world.
