Coffee Shoppe at 30A — Restaurant in Santa Rosa Beach

Here at Santa Rosa Beach on Vacay with family. Let me start by saying we had such a great experience the first day. Very friendly, and courteous. The vanilla, iced latte, and caramel iced lattes are so delicious! The coffee is not cheap which is ok. I do not mind spending the money for something that tastes great. However, I do feel that the service should be better. Our second experience we explained we have kind of a large order. The young blonde employee taking our order was like “great.” However, she said that in a passive aggressive manner. We asked about a pastry. She seemed impatient, and rudely replied “I don’t know what you want.” She then started to name everything as if it was a problem that we even asked. She stated “Everything is written on the glass.” Again very rudely. They never wiped the cups off before sticking them in a cup carrier. The lids kept popping up on the cups. Therefore coffee spilled out onto the floor. We cleaned it up. They never offered to help, or even offered us more napkins for us to clean it up. What a jewel! We have vacationed on 30-A for almost 20 years but this is the first time we’ve stayed at Blue Mountain Beach and this coffee shop, Coffee Shoppe at 30 A, is wonderful.

I’m in the specialty coffee business and have been in and around superb coffee shops professionally since 1999. This place has delicious coffee, friendly service, a comfortable atmosphere, and freshly baked pastries!

I always have black drip coffee and it was very good. My wife usually gets a latte or a cappuccino and hers have been delicious.

We are writing this review after having come here two mornings in a row and knowing that we will also be here tomorrow. This is one of those shops where there are no disappointments. Come treat yourself.
