Your Friend at the Beach — Local services in Santa Rosa Beach

We stayed at the Adagio A 305 for a week in August with our family of 5 plus a friend of our 14 year old daughter. First, I must say dealing with Your Friend At The Beach, Nancy & Tori, was a wonderful experience, they went way above what you normally get from rental companies, they were very personal and genuinely cared about us and making our stay the best it could be. There were a few things that we needed, but couldn't bring with us in our vehicle, so I asked them about this a month before we came and they not only remembered, but the day we arrived they provided the things I asked about, plus a few nice gifts as well. Thank you Nancy for going above and beyond what you needed to. As far as the condo, "WOW" what a great place, it was just as it was presented, a 5 star for sure. Everything was top of the line, extremely clean (I am kind of a clean freak) and very well maintained. The condo is very well furnished and very "homey" with the many family pictures all around, you don't feel as though you are in a vacation rental. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could need whether it was breakfast, lunch, dinner or a late night snack. The appliances were all top of the line and worked well. We loved the large separate ice maker, we never got close to running out of ice, even with 6 people. Sitting out on the large balcony listening to the ocean and even seeing some Dolphins just offshore was such a treat too. The views from this corner condo with all the windows was spectacular, I think every day we commented about how great the view was. The beach with the powder white sand and the 4 pools were amazing, never a shortage of things to do. You definitely don't want to miss the incredible sunset either, great opportunity for family pictures. First of all, we’ve stayed at San Remo multiple times and have been very pleased with each stay. The location is great. Close to many restaurants and shops. Beach is quiet and short walk. We stayed at San Remo-204 last week and the condo was nice. It was clean and the kitchen was fully stocked. There were plenty of linens, towels and extra blankets. Additionally, the groundskeeper (not sure of specific title) Annette, is wonderful! She was always working hard and very pleasant. She’s always extremely nice and cordial. However, the downside of this condo was that there were NO curtains in either bedrooms! There were blinds but that does not provide enough shade to sleep past 5:30am especially when you have two toddlers. We ended up putting black garbage bags through the slats of the blinds to help with some of the incoming light through the second bedroom where our daughter slept. During the day it’s light and at night the porch light or outdoor hallway light was so bright it seemed as if it were daylight. That made it hard for anyone to sleep. Blackout curtains are a must for this condo. Another important issue I had with this condo is that there is no security door guard(chain door fastener) or upper lock on the door. There was a deadbolt but my two year old is well versed on how to open deadbolts and could easily open this door. I would’ve felt MUCH more comfortable with a lock on the door he couldn’t reach. Many hotels and condos have this. He ended up sleeping in our room for the week. Overall we had a great trip. We will be back just may not stay in this condo unless these issues...

Nancy, Tori, Larry and Staff definitely rate a 5 star. Our family of five stayed at San Remo Unit 202 Aug 16-19, 2017. The accommodations and attention to every minute detail to ensure your vacation condo has all the comforts and amenities of home far exceeded our expectations.

How often do you vacation at a condo where you receive special little touches in every bathroom, a brand new bottle of liquid hand soap, lg bottle of body wash, 2 rolls of toilet paper, a hair dryer, paper towel in the kitchen, kitchen soaps, laundry soaps, every bedroom equipped with charging stations on your nightstand next to your bed, every kitchen utensil, pot and pan imaginable and well maintained and a complimentary beautiful "Your Friend at The Beach" beach towel and ample engraved plastic cups for everyone, bottle of wine and small container of coffee.

I could go on and on; the amenities were phenomenal; the condo was clean and spacious; the pools, beach and surrounding area was immaculate and beautiful and the condo and wrap-around balcony overlooking the gulf was amazing and so tranquil.

We totally enjoyed our stay; it was perfect. Nancy and her team's service is impeccable, extremely helpful and quick to respond. The app provided for helpful tips for the area is definitely a bonus. Nancy and her team's service is impeccable and I have no hesitation in highly recommending them.
