Land and Water Coffee — Restaurant in Santa Rosa

I visit Santa Rosa often to see family, and I used to look forward to stopping at Land and Water for their high-quality drinks. Unfortunately, every visit has left me increasingly frustrated with the restrictive rules they have in place for ordering.

For example, on my last visit I wanted a large hot latte, but was told they only serve hot lattes in a small size — if I wanted a larger one, it had to be iced. The same thing has happened in the past when I ordered a matcha latte. Since a larger size wasn’t an option, I had to order two smalls just to get the amount I wanted.

These arbitrary restrictions really take away from the experience. While I do enjoy the quality of their drinks, the rigid boundaries around ordering make it difficult to justify coming back. Sadly, despite liking the product, I won’t be supporting this...

This place is great. I am gone to their down town location a few time but the new toaster spot is the place to be. It is large and open. It’s located more out of the way but still easy to find. I think parking will become an issue over time though. The Barista was great. Super friendly and very knowledgeable. I plan to come back here. My only complaint is that they had close to no options of beans. Assuming they were going to restock soon but was bummed to not really see a bag that called my name. Their espresso is on point. The fourth street location is awesome and I was so excited when they opened the new Cleveland location but every time I’ve been there it’s been an issue. The first time they’d been open over a week but didn’t have any sugar. The second time I came in at 7:30 and even though the door was unlocked and the Google hours (which said updated by business a week ago) said they opened at 7:30, the employee refused to serve us and said they didn’t open until 8.
