Spent $70+ . The young gentleman taking our order was very kind. Ordered a 20 piece tender, which he called out to the cooks in the back. The woman up front with him, whom I guess was the manager (white female, glasses, black/dark brown hair) questioned the way he called it out. Then I asked for our gravy to be placed on the side. Which she proceeded to come over question again and take it upon herself to change our order to mash with no gravy and to add gravy on the side for an additional fee which the guy at the register had to fix afterwards. She seemed to have an attitude with everything/body. The tenders came out, and she proceeded to send tenders out with people who had ordered after us while we waited making the tenders not be as hot as they were when they first came out. When they finally called our order she didn't give or ask if we needed any boats/honey/hot sauce. Nothing, just simply walked off. I purchased a 20 piece tender and they only gave 4 sauces. Asked for additional and she proceeded to deep sigh and said that we could only get 2 more. Awfully skimpy on sauces for a 20 piece and a customer who just spent $70. We leave with our food to find that they were skimpy with all the sides. Partially full on everything. Not to mention, our mac and cheese was snapped either they got it too hot or it was old and re-heated, disgusting. Absolutely appalled by her nasty attitude and lask of customer service. If you don't like your job and are not able to do your job to the fullest, you should find another. Popeyes should look at finding new employees at this location. Heck, the whole lobby was full of smoke from burning grease. Obviously, they don't have control of the kitchen, and she is failing to keep the crew and store in...
Read moreI visited this Popeyes location approximately two hours before closing, and my experience was absolutely unacceptable.
Upon walking in, the first thing I heard was a woman loudly yelling that there were no more sandwiches — not directed at anyone in particular, just shouted across the restaurant. That set the tone immediately. I didn’t care much, since I came specifically for chicken tenders, but what happened next was beyond frustrating.
I placed my order, paid, and sat down to wait. A large group entered after me and ordered several tender meals. I thought nothing of it until I heard the staff say they were out of tenders. Then, I clearly heard them mention my name — and that’s when I learned they had decided not to make my order at all because they gave every remaining tender to that group.
Let me emphasize this: I ordered first. I paid first. Yet the staff chose to give my food to people who ordered after me, and rather than fix the situation, they told me they “weren’t going to drop more tenders.” This was two hours before closing. Are you really telling me that a restaurant as large as Popeyes can’t cook more tenders because the employees simply don’t feel like it? That’s not a shortage — that’s laziness and a complete lack of professionalism.
When I confronted the staff, I received the most insincere apology I’ve ever heard. No accountability, no effort to make it right — just a dismissive “sorry” followed by, “your refund will take 5–10 business days.”
This kind of behavior is outrageous and disrespectful to paying customers. I left that store angry, hungry, and completely unimpressed. If this is considered acceptable service at closing hours, then Popeyes needs to seriously reevaluate its management...
Read moreThe cashier guy was very disrespectful to me to the point to want to fight me and that he not care about his job. This guy is a Short skinny looking Mexican tweeker or wanna be gangster trailts. He asked me what I was going to order and I just told him that I wanted a two chicken breast meal. This guy replied we're not doing custom orders, which I wasn't understanding him. I was confused because as a Commercial Truck Driver, I'm here twice every week ordering the same 2 piece meal. I asked him what can I order because I wasn't understanding him, I'm just trying to order a 2 piece chicken spicy chicken breast meal. This guy started acting up because he didn't have a clue how to respond my question on what can I order then. He said anything except two of the same item. So again, I replied, "Then what am I allowed to order. He tells me get back to the end of the line behind about 12 other people and told him no, I've waited my turn in line and that's when he started acting stupid to the point that other people were telling him that he's not making sense. Eventually, another worker stepped in and de escalated him by removing him from the register and took take my order. I told them that they needed to fire this employee because he is a huge treath and liability to this establishment that one day it will result in a huge lawsuit. Other employees apologize to me as well. They shouldn't hire employees with this behavior as this place could potentially get flagged through social media, making it loose many dissatisfied customers due to unnecessary disrespect and treaths when I was respectful to him all the time. I did tell him he should be here with this behavior. Hopefully, the owner sees this message and...
