Edit: Upon talking to the manager during the daytime, he said Josh was backed up & in a hurry and probably didn’t know how to deal with someone on the phone. He said so you’re wanting me to have a talk with him? He seems less than interested about the conduct of his employee, instead he made excuses for his behavior. I told him initially my first call was to provide feedback. When I did that I was cussed at and played games with… over a pizza. The manager said he himself was busy & needed to get back to it. The conversation lasted a total of 2 minutes 39 seconds. So sadly enough the customer service is severely lacking. Food can be fixed. People skills need to be addressed at this location.
The first time I purchased from there I had pizza that was missing one of the toppings I paid extra for. I don’t like to complain about minimal issues. So I did not contact them. It was probably just a fluke. The next time, about 3 weeks later, I ordered the same exact thing. The order was basically a duplicate of the first one. After placing the order, I called & spoke to a young man. I explained what happened the first time & said ya know I get it stuff happens. Please make sure my toppings are on there. Super nice young man, he assured me he would take care of it. Upon my husband picking the pizzas up, whomever gave the pizzas to him said “we put mushrooms on it”. I paid for extra mushrooms which is almost $3 extra dollars. My husband did not check the pizza. Once he got home, after the place was closed, he checked the pizza. There were slices with no toppings at all. I’m not sure why I paid for extra when I get less than a tablespoon of mushrooms. I called the next day & spoke with Justin. When he answered the phone he was really nice. I said hey who do I speak with about my order from last night? IMMEDIATELY his tone changed. I explained it & he responded I’m not sure what exactly you problem is. (Mind you I was super nice. No weird tone. No hostility. Nothing) I explained again. He said you should’ve called last night. I explained they were closed. He then said that when you pay for extra toppings you actually get less of said topping. Which made zero sense to me. I said verbatim what he said back to him & he said that’s right. I was not expecting anything free at all, I told him this. I wanted to provide feedback about it was disappointing to pay so much extra for a $6.99 that turns into $13. Mind you, the toppings change at sauce. Handmade pan costs extra. So if you order a $6.99 deal pizza that has 2 toppings included if you change the sauce, that’s a topping. I told him how I was trying to give this particular location a shot bc I live right down the road. The convenience of it and all. He said I don’t care & I don’t have to FKN listen to you. He then hung up on me. When I called back he hung up the first time without even saying hello. The second time he said this is Josh. I asked him who the general manager was to which his response is he doesn’t know , he just started but yet he said he is a manger of the store. I’m not sure exactly what happened to him that day or what kind of day he was having but I got the brunt of it. I’m still trying to make contact with the general manager 3 days later. It’s frowned upon to even offer customer concerns that are not even in the slightest of being hostile. I guess I’ll have to drive 30 miles to the 41 and Sheridan location that has undisputed customer service & food. All and all I wanted to be able to go to a location that was closer with the same quality. I hope others do not have to have an experience like mine. Maybe management will see this. I don’t know. Read moreI'M VERY upset with Domino's in Sapulpa. I have ordered numerous times and have had a few issues in the past but nothing like today. We were told that the pizza would be delivered within 30 minutes... after 40 minutes my daughter in law called the store to see where the pizza was, "David" assured her that he would call the driver and see where she was... after an hour of no pizza my daughter in law called back. He said he understood that we would be upset but would give the driver a call. When the driver finally showed up she refused to take the check we had written without ID. NOTHING was said about needing ID or not accepting checks when they asked what kind of payment was being used. We have written checks almost every time we have ordered and have never been required to have ID. My daughter called the store and she was told by "David" that in order to accept checks we have to have a history with them, when she explained that they have never asked for ID before he said he would have to go back on their records and note everyone that has accepted a check without ID and FIRE everyone of them that accepted checks from me without my ID. He would put "notes" all over my account there and let the owner know all about me. We were aggrieved about the ID but when asked why the pizza took so long to get there "David" told her she was lying, that his driver had been there for at least 20 minutes!!!!! Whatever happened to customer satisfaction??? David was rude, arrogant and totally disrespectful to the customer and customer service has become horrible!!! There are TONS of other pizza places around that will get my business...
Read moreNever had a single problem with this place ever until today. Ordered the same thing I get every time, the same way as times before. This time we got the pizza it was black and inedible. After contacting support, I finally get a call from Mikel saying it's burnt because of the way I ordered it! I let him or her know it has never came burnt and inedible before. The tone of the person on the phone trying to educate me on why my pizza is black instead of doing the right thing and fixing it, set me off. So sick of uneducated pizza cooks trying to spin why my pizza is burnt and why it's not his fault. Hard as the cardboard it's served In. Please dominos pizza boy, save your excuse.
